I have/had this problem as well, you are right! I also so that episode on the dog whisperer, I tried it and it worked! I will do the SHUSH!, snap and point my finger at her and she will stop. You can tell by her body language that she wants to rip into it but eventually she just sat there and watched.

Rosi does the same, she attacks Vacum, Apollo is scared and looks for someone to hold him, the big Sissy !

My Skippy does it and is teaching Gabby to do it! My hubby takes them for a ride in the car!

I have just the opposite problem. I can get out my Dyson and our little 6mo. old Kayla goes crazy. She wiggles all over, that tail goes 90mi. an hr. and she apsolutely is in love with the vaccum. I think she thinks it is a huge play toy. She would probably ride on top of it if we would let her. If I were you I would do like everyone has said, I would just put her in a different room until I was finished.
