| Second litter box needed? I've been reading post about yorkies liking to do their Pees & Poos in different places. My Moxie uses the litter box (with pee pee pads) to poop 100% of the time but only to pee 25% of the time. Has anyone ever tried to use two boxes side by side? TIA, Terry |

| I would stick to 1 box because if your dog is new potty training, it might confuse your dog even more to have more than 1 box. |

| Your probably right...I guess I'm just desparate. Besides who needs two boxes to clean. But if he doesn't catch on soon I may just give it a shot LOL!!! |

| Right now I use the litterbox side by side with the pads but she has stopped using the litterbox altogether. I have started trying to train her to go in the litterbox by putting dog litter on the pad and every 2 days putting a little more. Soon I will put the pad in the litterbox by itself and then put little by little dog litter in it. I want to stop the pads for good and just stick with the litterbox. I would definitely get rid of one if I were you just so she's not in the habit of using both. Hazel it's not the same. I use this, you can get it at petsmart. http://doglitter.com/GetPage.aspx?D=306758&T=2899292

| 2 Wee Wee Pads Our vet recommended trying two wee wee pads. He said some dogs don't like to pee and poop in the same spot and it can help. I now use two. It definitely helped in the beginning and now he seems to have settled in to using only one, but I still have the second one just incase. |

| I found that Tini did this (pee outside the box) when I wasn't hyper dilligent about cleaning out the box and making sure it doesn't smell. I now clean out the soiled litter twice a day and we don't have problems. I am not sure if it is because of that or if she is just getting older now. Good luck, I know this is frustrating!
