| ![]() Just to jump in here... My Doberman is a certified therapy dog. We volunteer regularly and work with special-needs children and with battered women/teens. Each month Twitch and I go to our visit with these women and they LOVE him and he loves them. They fawn over him and for the 2 hours we are there they forget all of their problems and learn the meaning of unconditional love. The reason I post this is because we VISIT--the benefit he brings to them is invaluable. The audacity of you suggesting it justifies a rogue breeding program is sickening. If you want to help these women then put out an offer for a certified animal volunteer team to come in and visit. It's cost effective (since its free--whoo hoo no vet bills), it has all the benefits that animal therapy can bring and you aren't contributing to the animal overpopulation problem. Problem solved! There are some of us that have been there, know what it's all about. Therapy, 12 step programs.....so, you aren't speaking to an bunch of uneducated ninnies here. You can't come on this yorkie loving forum, expecting to obtain a breeding pair of yorkies without having the forum not go up in arms. We love this breed too much to allow that. I'm amazed that you thought that'd we'd give free advice and mentorship knowing what you are planning. Let alone knowing that you have no expertise whatsoever, breeding yorkies or any breed. Being a loving pet owner is entirely different.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | ![]() You may want to go back and re-read your OWN posts. It's quite obvious as to exactly what your plans were.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | ![]() I'll go ahead and close this thread as it has gone way off topic, and I've been a big part of that as much as anyone else, if not more. However, in terms of what was discussed, I think it was important to let the thread play out for a while. I'm not sure it can go anywhere good/productive going forward....so I think it's best to close it now.
