| It would be great if you could join us, and YES, definitely have your friend bring her babies too. Is she a YTer? I think you're only allowed 2 dogs in 1 carrier if they're both under 6 months old, but you could check with your specific airline to verify. |

My little Mango critter....LOL... more like a whole basket of balls in the energy department...... I swear she is just so comical, it's like having a live-in stand up (on all paws) comedienne.

When I was with the Yorkie Rescue, I got her into it too. She's such a wonderful dog mom. |

| How about 1:00PM or later? Does that work for everybody? The later the better, because earlier, the park is just crazy - ball games, picnics, etc.I am getting sooooo excited to meet you all!!!And this is Mango doing her happy dance.... we call it the "Mango Tango". |

| According to their website http://www.ocparks.com/yorbapark/def...Show=parkrules, it says "Dogs must be restrained by a leash at all times (6 foot maximum)", so I don't think there's an off leash area. Maybe that's safer for everyone's first meeting though?! |

| I decided to post a separate thread about our June 9th meet-up, so the discussions here don't get lost in the shuffle. You can read the details and post replies about the meet-up at http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...24#post1145824. Thanks! |

| Yes, there are a few of us "native Californians", left. I was born in San Bernardino and have lived most of my life in California. Lived in Vegas for 16 months,(hated it), moved back to southern Cal and have been here since. It really is a great place to be. We have the best weather all year long. |

| Cal - What was the name of the itailian restaurant they let you take Lilo and Stitch into? My husband and I are thinking about going there, but we aren't sure where to eat... |

| OK...LOL...I answered my own question! I called Fashion Island and asked, and the lady told me they only had 1 Itailian Restaurant, so then I called that restaurant, and the guy confirmed they ARE pet-friendly, so we took Sukoshi to Fashion Island today, and we ate at Francoli Gourmet Emporio. The food was very yummy, and they were very nice to Sukoshi (who, incidentally, was an angel laying in her stroller while Mommy and Daddy enjoyed a nice meal). Then, we took her for some shopping, bought her a couple new outfits , you know...the usual! (She is SO spoiled)!!!!!!!! It was a nice day out! |

Yesterday we took Mango to the historic district in Old Town Orange; Mango had an absolute blast!!! She bounced around on her leash.... stopping every few seconds to do her little Mango Tango dance in front of anybody and everybody...(she's never met a person she shouldn't say hello to, you see). We ate at an old converted gas station... such a cute place, also very dog friendly. There were quite a few people there with their dogs; the one sitting next to us was sooooo huge, when he opened his mouth to yawn, Mango nearly ran right in! It was such fun, besides the food being fab, the waiters brought little bowls of water for the doggies. Mango sat in her bag and chewed on her Nylabone, while Jack and I chowed down HUGE hamburgers. Then we strolled around, looking at the cute old houses with the front porches. I love old neighborhoods, but am sorely starved for them in California. I soooo want a front porch to hang out on and watch the world go by, with my baby snuggled on my lap. Hugs to you, and give Sukoshi a skosh for me, Lauren

Let's see...what did I buy for Sukoshi yesterday? She got a t-shirt that says "Yorkie to Happiness" (get it?...Your Key to Happiness...LOL ...LOVE IT), a new dress, some new hair accessories, 3 "Ruffles" from Three Dog Bakery, a new collar, and ... well ... I think that's it. What did Mommy get? Hmmm...NOTHING! Isn't that always the case?!?!? All the money goes to our children !!! Your time in Old Town Orange sounds fabulous. Maybe that should be next on my agenda of places to check out with hubby and Sukoshi! Oh, and I'll give Sukoshi a Skosh from you just as soon as I get home to her!
