| Do Not Buy A Puppy From Deanna Pedley We purchased a Yorkshire Terrier puppy from Deanna Pedley who is a puppy broker in Yuba City, California for $1500.00. We were told by her that she was selling it for a man who had just had a heart attack and needed the money. It turns out that she actually bought the puppy from a breeder for $635.00 and re-sold it to us. Profit is fine, the lies aren't. Now the dog has some internal health issues that require steroids and antibiotics. From that vet visit is was determined that the dog may not even be a pure breed, it can't ever have a litter, it has congenital knee and hip issues, it has two sets of teeth (in-bred) and has a severe skin and boil disorder that appears to be immune to both the steroids and antibiotics. We have asked her to make things right by asking for at least refunding us the profit she made so we can pay the vet bills and even potentially "put the dog down" as the vet recommended as an option. We have also found an incredible amount of negative postings on various Yorkie websites about her doing the same thing to other pet buyers. When confronted her response was "I'll give you a really good deal on a new puppy, maybe $700 or $800 dollars." Please...do not have dealings with this woman. If you have, PLEASE contact us as we've taken steps to end her brokering business. Any additional help would be greatly appreciated. The kicker to the whole story...her mother in law lives across the street from us and when she told us that the gentleman she was selling it for wanted $2000, she said she couldn't ask us to pay that much as we were "friends of the family." |

| Do Not Buy a Puppy from Deanna Pedley Be sure to report her to Yuba County Animal Control and District Attorney.....Talk about a smart talker..Told me how she "does the breeders" a favor by taking puppies that they don't want at 8 weeks old and then sells them in Yuba City because she has an address in Sutter County as well...Be sure to tell the proper authorities and you may save someone else your heartache....Good Luck.... |

| Deanna Pedley Deanna is a broker. She buys dogs and resales them for a large profit. She claims to rescue the puppies. LIE! She gets them from breeders that are out of state and resales them. Buyers Beware when buying dogs from her. They very well could be coming from puppy mills. She always has some for sale. Do your homework! Google her name and several threads come up about her. |

| I almost bought a puppy from her. Problem was, she lied and said the parents were on site somewhere..can't remember where. I told her I wanted to see the parents. She said that she sells them the way she does ( out of her vehicle..grr ) because the people who own the puppies fear people knowing their location as people steal puppies. I could not come up with the money she was asking for the pup I looked at and was very dissappointed. But she sent another mail saying she had more. By then I had come to my senses ( I lose them when I see a yorkie baby) and realized I was not buying ANY pup without first visiting where they live and how they are taken care of as well as what the parents looked like. You know, we've all heard it before, but the saying....when things don't turn out the way you wanted.....there is a REASON........ I now have Mookie ( aka Jackson..changed his name..lol ) and I could not be happier. She did tell me that breeders came to her... and she made 300.00 per pup.... She does need to QUIT.
