Donating YT 14K Club Member | I'm so sorry that this happened to you. However, the more you post her website in full link, the more advertisement you give her.

| $250.00 nonrefundable deposit Why would you put down a $250.00 non refundable deposit anyway? That in itself sends up a RED FLAG!!! The good and trustworthy breeders out there would never ask for a non refundable deposit and not replace the pup if it were to die. Put these folks on the list of BAB,BAD BREEDERS.... I am sorry this happened to you, and I wish you luck. |

| non refundable..What does that really mean, Breeders.. Regarding the comment about the non refundable deposit..Alot of breeders state that in there web site..And i took it as if i decided not to get the pup i would lose my deposit..I didnt think if the pup died in her possession before i received the pup i wouldnt get my deposit back.. I am i wrong? Breeders on this site..If you state on your web page non refundable deposit..What does that really mean? If i dont have a chance in Small Claim i would really like to know.. Thanks you for any information.. Gina |

| non refindable deposit I charge a non refundable deposit to weed out the serious buyers from the ones who just say they want one, but when it comes down to picking the puppy up, they every excuse in the book why they can't complete the sale. I even had a friend tell me she would buy 2 of my females, then every week it was "Can you keep them 1 more week for me?" I finally told her I decided to keep them myself. She doesn't even speak to me any more!! oh well. If I had a puppy that died before delivery and I couldn't replace the puppy in a couple of months, I would give them their money back, or if they didn't want to wait until the next liter I would give their money back. I wish you all the best. |

| I do accept a non-refundable deposit on my pups to hold them for placement. If I choose not to deliver the pup for any reason the deposit is fully refunded. If the buyer chooses to change their mind, I have the choice of refunding or not. If the circumstances for the change are reasonable or unavoidable on the part of the buyer, I would refund it then also, but it is at my discretion.

| pursuing the matter??? I too accept non-refundable deposits. However, it is only to "hold a puppy" so that someone doesn't back out on me after holding a puppy for so long. If something were to happen to the puppy in my care, the next available puppy of equal value is offered in lieu of the original choice (in which I have never had to deal with). I have never heard of a buyer losing their deposit because the pup died while in the seller's possession. That's obserd!!!!!! If it were me, I would pursue this matter as if it were a "scam". Ultimately, a non-refundable deposit or even a "deposit" is to hold something in the event that the transaction will be completed within a "reasonable amount of time". Therefore, she would be in breech of your contract whether it be verbal or written. I was so mad when I read this, I could have spit tacks..... Good Luck in pursuing the matter.

| Beware sick pups I am aware this breeder sells pups that are sick and doent offer any money back for vet bills. a friend of mine bought a pup and then the pup had a parasite and she almost lost the pup and it spread to her other puppies. I also have heard she has a BIG turn over of puppies, and constantly has pups for sale, which to me PUPPY MILL is all over it. It is Pathetic how these breeders just turn the puppies out, and we pay for it |

I breed and show yorkies too. If she was a good and reputable breeder, she would have either refunded your deposit or given you first pick of another litter no matter how many others were on the waiting list. You would come first. Sounds like a bunch of hooey. Good luck. I hope she makes good on it. Lori | |

| Some Information... First- I am sorry for the loss of the little one you were trying to buy. Second- get your money back from them it isen't theirs. Third- dont deal with them again cause there will always be a story to tell that someone will buy hook, line and sinker... I know for a fact that Gail and Gary Rodriguez are not trust worthy people when it comes to money. They will tell you on thing and then do the opposite. My husband and I rented a home to them for a while and they had at least 20-25 puppies in there at once. We know that they don't take care of the cleanlieness of the puppies since we had to rip out the carpet and have it replaced due to the fact they never let the puppies out to potty and they never picked up the potty in the house. Not once. We are in court with them right now on a separate matter. I would encourage you if you can take action on a puppy mill that you do it. Think twice before you deal with them in the future. Big red flag that more than one of there puppies has gotten sick. Again I'm sorry for your loss. prettymomma |
