Well now I am confused, how did you buy from one kennel in one state, but actually bought one from GA. You must be confused on who you got your yorkie from. And what do you mean "he doesn't breed", are you saying he buys the puppies and then charges more for them?

OK, I aplogize bc I am a TOTAL outsider....I was actually a good friend of merri's son (not the one mentioned in a previous post - there are are like,6 sons....) when we were younger. I was actually googling his name bc I lost his e mail addy and was trying to get ahold of him.....when I stumbled across this. The answer to your question is - she is no longer selling puppies. She passed away 3 months ago. All that stuff about terminal cancer on the auction advertisement was true. Since she got really sick, they all (as in, all chaffins) sold all of the pups (hence the sons auction and dissapearence of the web site) to help with med bills and spend time with her before her death. So, as horrible as all of it was, atleast it's over now. And everyone who hated her so much- there ya go, shes gone!!!

I am the one who started this thread and I am genuinely saddened to hear of her passing. I never wished Merri or her husband any harm, but only wanted them to change their way of dealing with people. It was a terrible experience for me, but I don't ever remember feeling "hatred" for the Chaffins. I have asked adminstration to remove this thread, as the Chaffins are no longer selling puppies and this thread therefore serves no purpose. Unfortunately, admin will not remove this thread. I am hoping they reconsider out of respect for Merri Chaffin and her family.
