| Bad Breeder Www.yorkiebabiedolls.com I purchased what I thought was a 3 pound at most, stud quality male. From WWW.YORKIEBABIEDOLLS.COM from Don Montgomery. IN OKLAHOMA What I received at the air port was a 3 pound starved pup, ridden with coccidia, a second row of teeth, and definitely not of breeding quality. He is now a 6 pounder with a terrible coat and huge ears. But it gets worse, 2 months later he starts limping on his back leg. He was diagnosed with leg-calf Perthes disease and required a $1500 dollar surgery. This disease is inherited from this parents or someone in his parents line, I told Don about this yet he still breeds both the parents EVERY SINGLE HEAT!!! He has way to many females and I know now that he is running a puppymill. Don offers a health guarantee but he does not stand by it at all. I am just devastated that I did not do my research on THE BREEDER before I purchased. Don does all his business through the internet, so please spread the word on his horrible puppymill and hopefully we can put him out of business. P.S. Fabio had his surgery and is recovering great! |

| I am sorry you received your puppy in such bad health. I hope his surgery is successful. It is amazing how so many of these breeders(puppy mills breeders) get away with what they do. Your right, the internet can put a halt to his breeding in some ways. Hopefully the word gets out and he suffers great losses. It makes me sick to my stomach thinking about the mommies and how they must suffer from heat to heat. I hope he burns in H---. Carik & Buddy |

| I'm so sorry this happened to you and your little guy. But you've come to the right place to spread the word and get support. I've been through a similar experience with another breeder. I'm glad your furkid's recovering well!I hope everything works out, if there is anything I can do to help, let me know!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | That's the scary thing about shipping and the net - anyone can have a website and they can ship you ANY dog they want - those with no ethics don't care one bit about how you feel - they already have your money. that happened when I visited Brushy Creek Kennel back a few years ago - they emailed me these cute cute puppy pictures - I had been looking for a sister for Chanel and was really excited but did NOT research before I left to go visit. So we drove 3 hours because they said the puppy in the emails was available right then - We literally dropped everything and just got in the car ...I'm thinking I would be seeing an adorable yorkie. There was not one dog that looked remotely like the one they emaile me pictures of. Not even close. They brought out this poor little female who was about 5 months old and TRIED to say she was the puppy in the emails. Not even close but the poor puppy they tried to sell me looked ill - I felt SO bad for her ... I ended up crying on the way home because I felt terrible not wanting that poor puppy.....but at the time - I couldn't get out of there fast enough I felt so bad leaving her, but no way was I taking her back then - she was a mess - all crooked teeth and a really bad looking distended stomach. I had visions of vet bills and heartache - she really didn't look healthy at all - but did seem happy. By the time we got home 4 hours later and I had a chance to really think - THEN I got mad - I called and reported them locally within the week & went on a letter writing /phone calling tear.....That place was THAT BAD. NOW I know they're AWFUL puppy mill type breeders who sell lots of sick puppies but back then I didn't know (until I started really really researching them after I was there) MY FAULT and I should have known better.... but.... IF I HAD ORDERED FROM THEM site unseen ..over the net like some people do & had a yorkie shipped from that same site - you can bet they'd have shipped that poor baby, NOT the one in the pictures. I still feel guilty over not wanting her ...and hope she ended up in a good home. These kinds of people don't care ONE BIT about who they scam or rip off. |

| I am sorry about your experience. I have seen this site several times and it makes me sick that he advertises champ lines and many of those pups look far from quality lines . The champs probably go back to 20 generation and the quality has definitely vanished. |

| Sorry to hear that about your puppy having to go thru all that, but it's good to have a parent like you. I had this site bookmarked, so of course I heed the warnings, his pups are expensive to. I wonder why his guarantee didn't exchange the puppy before you got attached to it? Needless to say, he's in good hands now.

| Gez, didn't it look like he was using the same photo and giving them different names in his "parents" page? (females)

| I posted this in another thread about another bad breeder in Oklahoma. I hope it helps. I am very saddened to here all of this coming from the state where I live. It seems the place to call is the Attorney Generals office. Here is the contact information. If enough people who were scammed complain, I hope that he will do something. I also added a link where you can file a complaint online. By U.S. Mail Office of the Attorney General 2300 N.
