I'm really sick and tired of the pot stirrers here who love to report anything back to whomever (bad breeder, puppymill......) is posted negativity about in our close YT community. I bet they don't have the courage say who they are. They just sit back and watch the show, shame on them!!!!

Whose side are you on anyways?, to me they are the biggest problem here

That's why it's important to support breeders who breed to standard; we are trying to preserve the look of Yorkshire terrier for years to come.

By the way Kaji-kun has a gorgeous face!

Good point. I hadn't stopped to consider how they even knew she'd posted about them.

It happens all the time, makes me wonder what kind of people they are. Never have the guts to come forward either, hmmmm....

I have a weakness for floppy ears, good thing I'm not a breeder, I would be trying to change the standard!

High volume commercial kennels who wholesale puppies to brokers and pet shops are required to be licensed by the USDA. Because puppies are produced in a factory-like setting, they have been dubbed "puppymills".

This is a list of licensed (by USDA) commercial dog breeders. I'm assuming the list is provided by the USDA and is public information. No, this list does not mean the breeder is being investigated or had violations (there is another list for violations).

Hi. I did not read through all the post, just a few. I just wanted to say that there are brokers that pose as rescue. Not saying this is the case, but you mentioned that she came from an auction and you got her through rescue. Myself and another exposed one rescue right here in NJ that was buying pups from auctions then listing them on petfinder.com as rescues. This was not a legitimate rescue. It was a broker who was making a lot of money. Just because a place is listed as a rescue does not mean they are legite. Many people do not realize this. You need to be savvy and check out the rescue and make sure that they are infact legitimate. A big red flag with a broker posing as a rescue is when they have many pups available for adoption and either none or not many adults. Elaine
