| Sugar's mom. To me thats the way it should be. So many say they breed for the love of it, well it doesn't take 20 dogs stuck in a kennel to do that. To me if you hve more than you can keep in your house then you are no longer doing it because you love it, but are doing it to make money. I'm glad to see there are at least some out there that really do do it for the love of it and for the love of the breed. To me those type of people no matter how many test they run on their dogs..no matter how good the dog food is..how nice the kennel is ..ect..ect..they are still no better then a run of the mill puppymill..but that's just my opinion.. |

| Both my little breeder ones are inside dogs. Man I hate it when dogs have to weather it outside!!! I don't let my dogs sleep with me in my bed for the fact that my husband is such a heavy sleeper he doesn't wake up, and he tried to suffocate my Raeley one night by rolling on his stomach and trapping her, so now she sleeps in a (wire) crate by my bedside so she can see me and I can see her. She's got a fluffy bed inside there and a warm fleece blanket. Riley is next to my dresser that is opposite of my bed with a fluffy bed and fleece blanket in a wire crate as well. I feel its safer for them since my husband doesn't wake up, and my little skin man likes to crawl into bed with us in the mornings and doesn't look before he blops down. Other than that they have the run of the house unless my boy is being wild and then I put them in my bedroom with a baby gate so I can keep them in my sights and where they have access to my laundry room where their food and water is. It gives them room to roam, and safety from a little monster. Mine take naps on my couch or chairs, or with me in the chair. They are part of my family (drive my husband nuts by wanting his attention), they get just as much attention as both my skin kids. They go camping with us, on long trips with us, and I hardly am never not home so I don't leave them alone.

| It's What They Deserve When I decided to breed these wonderful babies I was told that even though my cancer had gone into remission it will come back someday. For weeks, after 6 months of chemo, I would wake up wondering if today was the day it would come back. I don't do that anymore, now I wake up to... Mom, it's time for breakfast get up!! These babies heal your heart. They have done for me what no anti-depressant could and for that they will always have the life they deserve. These babies don't ask to be here, we put them here and it is our resposibilty to make sure they are happy, healthy, taken care of and secure and if that means sleeping hanging over they edge of the bed so be it!! |

| Show me a breeder that really does keep their dogs inside at all times and that to me is a breeder that trully does care and love their dogs..[/QUOTE] I'm proud to be in the group of breeders who really do have their yorkies inside as family members. Yorkies are very social and love to be around people .......... I would hate to have my babies in a garage set up or outdoor kennels. Raising our babies in a home environment does make a difference in their temperaments and health. |

| I wasn't going to but... I had decided not to post on this thread anymore for I felt I got my point across and everyone who need more information received it however, I found out yesterday my boy from this breeder has GR II-III luxating pattella bi-lateral and should have surgery ASAP for the wear on the cartlege will make it worse. Remember, he was sold as a BREEDER for my girls. Had this breeder been the reputable, ethical breeder she advertises and portrays when selling her dogs none of this would have happened. Another breeder who owns a male from Ms. Ledbetter contracted with me over a month ago to breed a girl I purchased from her (I had met her early in the year and fell in love with her boy hince, my contact with Ms. Ledbetter). The girl has been bred and showing signs of pregnancy. Today I found the stud too has luxating patella but to what extent is unknown at this time and as of now, I have nothing in writing to prove his diagnosis. These lessons have cost me dearly, I pray no one else falls victim to her ----! |

| Review Removed I also posted a review of her on puppyfind for which she promptly removed her ad. She reposted an ad yesterday after she had the review removed and had it replaced with a B S one. I know this because I had spoken to this breeder who posted it more than a month ago and before things began going south with the purchase of the 2 dogs from Ms. Ledbetter. In that conversation she described her relationship with Ms. Ledbetter as being the very best of friends and on and on. I don't think its right that you are able to post a review and if the person being reviewed don't like it, they can have it removed. Had I been asked, I would have provided all the documents to them to prove my review. Luckily others are able to view the happenings on here. Thanks! |

| Are you aware of rip off report? You can also report to the Better Business Bureau and have you checked out Puppy Lemon Laws in your state? Home - Ripoff Report

| Thanks for the Information Thank you for the information. I will definatly check out these areas. Do I look up the "Lemon" laws in my state or the state of the breeder? This information will help, for I am pursuing other action. |

| TJ's Yorkies I have known Toni Ledbetter for about 4 years now. I have found her to be a very honest person and she has always stood by her word to me. She has bought dogs from me and has always followed my contract. She has also contacted me before placing any puppies out of the dogs she has purchased from me, to seek my approval before finalizing the sell. I think she is a good person and very kind hearted and do not feel that she would ever do anything to hurt anyone deliberately. Please feel free to contact me as a reference for her. | I like how you use the words " I think" and "do not feel". If what you say is true about the relationship you have with Ms. Ledbetter, I am happy for you. How many of your dog has she purchased and KEPT, bred and sold the babies? As many have seen by this post she does NOT show the other breeders she has USED the same respect. There are a Circle of her supporters out there (or should I say cliche') and I have been well informed by some of your feelings about me and this review. The fact of the matter is she is selling puppies and dogs as breeders that are NOT good breeding stock through lies and deception and people need to be warned. |
