I am sure other will be interested in hearing your side. You did sell all your puppies to YT members. It might be in your best interest to post your side so others know. JMO

Please by all means, share with everyone your side of the story. Why does anyone need to PM you? So that you can tell fibs just like you told me fibs? Did the puppy have bites before I picked her up? Was her hair broken? Do you have vet records you would like to post showing she was wormed and checked? I know you didn't give me ANYTHING from a vet!How about her vaccines? You gave me a personally typed vaccine record... Now, with no trust in your words, I am having to have her re-vaccinated from shot #1 (after all, you said she was wormed and she was not). Where are her CKC papers? When will those be sent to me? I don't even have those! Let me show you guys a picture of the condition she looked within 30 seconds of arriving at my house! I do not know how to copy the vet bill that was scanned so I am taking a picture and posting... EXPLAIN THAT BETTY!!!

http://i381.photobucket.com/albums/o...ds/vetbill.jpg

PS My EXACT words to her were "If you could find it in your heart to help with SOME of this bill, it would be a God send... Thank you"! I NEVER asked for all of it!

i dont know either party but banfield always charges more and sells you more then you need...im sure if you went to a another vet u would have been charged much less...even the er here is cheaper then banfield...if they were open other vets were most likely opened..i know this doesnt make it any better

but worms are very typical...all you can do is deworm them...your vet would have done a fecal test and dewormed all so...for much less...pancur is only 5 a box...they sold it to you for 12 ....

they would have charged you the same if you were doing a normal check up with distemper and fecal testing and deworming...please use a different vet next time and save some money

i would have been upset too if my dog was covered in scabs...i would be PO'ed for sure

good luck

PS here is a pic of the drugs... Do you think a vet would give me medications for no reason?

http://i381.photobucket.com/albums/o...Bella011-1.jpg

OK OK OK I have got to let this go... I am crying all over again! I am just upset she has the nerve to ask people to PM her for her side of the story instead of sharing with EVERYONE. I have documented my proof of what I have said. I ask her to PLEASE document her proof! Thank you and for real, I am done getting myself upset. She is doing much better today so I am sure she will pull through hust fine after she finishes her medications.

Betty,

To you, I just want to express how extremely hurt I am! I am hurt not only for the condition of Bella Rose but hurt that I allowed myself to like you as a person so much. I was very excited about having you as Bella's grandmother and sending you pictures of how she grows up and how she looks when she is an adult. I am hurt that I allowed myself to trust in someone and in turn, I feel scammed. I would really like for you to mail me her CKC papers. To me it didn't matter is she was AKC or CKC... I only wanted her to love. I am not a breeder and in turn, I must admit I did many things wrong in my search. I thought I had covered all my bases but sadly I did not. You even told me that you would refund some of the money and then after your husband called me a liar, our friendly emails turned into ugly back and forth words. I am sad that I was forced to that point and you should be ashamed that you have forced me to do as I have. I am just plane sad amd hurt and that is all I can say. No words will make my baby not have all the scabs and bumps and typing here just brings the hurt up in my heart all over again. I merely feel others on this site should be aware. I wish you no ill will and that you do fix your dogs as you stated you had plans on doing. Good luck in the future and I forgive you for everything as holding ill feelings tword you only hurts me.

Lori

I did call my vet but they said bring her in tomorrow. I did not want to risk "tomorrow" if she had parvo from all the vomitting. This was basically an emergency visit. I have used the same vet for 20 years. I would never purposely go to a vet at Petsmart. I also am not a vet so what they told me I needed I trusted them and did it for her health. It shows on the receipt the time was after 6PM and my local "emergency hospital" charges $80.00 just for you to walk through the door so this was as low in cost as I could have gotten at the time.

Lori -- I did get a pm from toroisekeeper. She said the vet bill is not really a bill but an estimate, and that is what it looks like in the pic. She said she caled the vet to just go over the visit and bill but they "hung up on her." If you could give the vet permission to discuss the bill with her, she seems willing to pay it. Hope that helps work things out for you.

im sorry wasnt trying to lecture...the vet stuff comes second nature to me and i dont stop and think that not everyone knows that stuff...which is fine...i worked in a vets office for a little bit and i worked with my mom in a rescue and i have several dogs so im used to this stuff too me its common sense but someone not used to that stuff its not...and im sorry i must have skipped the part where your vet said tomorrow...

its always a scary experience to get a new dog and things not be right. especially when you have other pets that could possible be indanger if you dont know whats going on...

im sure everything will work out and im sure that there was a reason you got that lil girl...someone knew she needed a special home that wouldnt hesitate to take care of her

We should know where that goes after this week.

The way this particular vet works is they print out an estimate. At the bottom, there is a place to sign your name to give them the OK to do the work. I signed the estimate and then kindly asked them print me a second one for proof to show Betty. That is what you see. I must add, the vet was absolutely POed at how someone could raise a puppy in those conditions without vet care. She stated I needed to turn her into animal welfare in her county of TN but I refused to do that as she is not a breeder but her dogs happened to have puppies. I do not and never would want to go to the extreme the vet told me to do! I am sure they did hang up on her, they were not pleased with how this puppy come to them!

I am not only showing proof of the bill but I am showing you proof of the medications I received. Isn't that enough to prove my words? I did not and do not want ALL of the bill! I merely would have liked her to show some respect and remource for what I had to go through and am still going through. Heck, if she sent me $50.00 that would have been something! She didn't offer me a penney! She is hiding behind the word estimate and not looking at the proof of medications nor the fact I went to a vet at 6:30ish PM out of fear! She KNOWS the puppy had scabs all over it! She knows I had to have a special shampoo, antibiotics, and benadryl to fix this. She can planly see in the picture the 3 white tubes of de-wormer! What more proof can I give? I told her to call the vet at her own risk... Once they get her name and seeing the condition of my puppy they are required by law to report her! I have no problem giving them her name and info if she would like. If she wants me to give them the OK to speak to her, have her PM me her information and I will give it to them.

I just wanted to say that it is not uncommon to get a vaccine record typed from a breeder. Most vaccinate their own puppies. I have records were the breeder takes off the labels and attaches them to the record. You should have gotten a vet. cert. upon picking her up. Did you? Please, Please be careful in vaccinating her twice. One question I do have is, did your husband see the bites on her when he picked her up?

I agree. In addition to worrying about a communicable disease, I wouldn't have wanted her to suffer through the night.

I understand about the bill. I have seen places do that same thing. In fact, my dentist did the same thing the other day for my bridge. My cancelled check will be my receipt I guess. Whew! That was a doozie! The proof you provided is good enough for me, but if she wants to see that the bill was paid, I see that side too. You are right that she is taking a chance in giving her name and info to the vet if they were that angry with the puppy being neglected. She could wind up feeling like she has more proof and then having to answer to the Animal Control people. I imagine she is reading this thread but I will pm back to her what you offered.
