That's brilliant; it is rare for someone to get a deposit back of a breeder such as that... Ajjls yorkies are adorable- but did she mention to you why the little ones are more expensive than show quality(if not I'll have to ask her- I am a little confused at that)? Have you been to see them yet!?

You were so smart to do that! Even though the puppies on Fancypup's site are precious, what puppy is not? They are all precious when they are 6, 8, 10 weeks old! I love my Lola and will continue to do all I can for her, but I think what Fancypups does should be illegal. The Roscoe's seem like very nice people, that's what is so confusing. But, they would not respond when they heard of Lola's problems and they are VERY aware that the dogs they sell do have severe problems, yet they continue to do so. Good people do not do that. Good luck with your new baby!

RUN, don't walk from Fancy Pups. Buster now has $10,000 legs, give or take, and still does not walk properly and he has many socialization issues. Maggie came from Facy Pups as well, she also has some issues. One of my neighbors was given a Yorkie that came from Fancy Pups, he is very tiny. I worry about all of the puppies the Rascoes sell. What they are doing should be illegal.

They have puppies on their site now...most are only 9 weeks old. I just can't imagine wanting to make "Christmas money" so badly that you would take these babies away from their mamas and litter mates just to make a Christmas sale. I think it's disgusting and I agree, should be illegal!

I don't have a clue who this breeder is; but there is NO such thing as a Teacup Yorkie!

FOR CLAUDIA!!!!!! http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/bre...son-smith.html

Hi, my name is Gina and as a journalist/writer am researching teacup puppy brokers, but we're taking it a little further than just research, we is Let's Adopt! Global, an international internet community of animal rescue workers, advocates for animal welfare and such.

I have posted a couple of times in here and every time I'm looking into a broker or breeder, I end up in here because they're discussed or talked about which often provides either new information or a new angle to explore.

We also work with Deborah Howard from C.A.P.S.

From various sources, I have learned there is no teacup "breed".
So it can't be an AKC Teacup breed either!

If you check the Pedigree page of that breeder, there isn't any relevant info. This is exactly the thing C.A.P.S. and other concerned animal friends worry about. Uneducated an unexperienced customers go shopping for a companion animal and have no idea what they are doing.

This forum had many knowledgeable people in it who can tell whether a breeder is a breeder, or a broker.

I noticed, Claudia, you buy on impulse because you want one for Christmas..... we're complete strangers, but this is precisely how you should NOT buy a pet, because you're going to buy a living being who will

why another website ....... and she also sells Maltese...........
now it's Massachusetts? Wasn't she in Delaware, Ohio?

AJJLS Yorkies

and another one..............

and here are the Maltese

Am not saying this isn't a legitimate breeder (she also runs a boutique)

and i am moving this one up:

Before you buy a dog, do some thorough research first, you're not buying a dress, or a tv set, or a new bicycle.. you're buying a LIVING BEING, not a living doll either ...

They have more websites.
Personally, if you're a breeder in it to preserve and enhance the breed, why is it necessary to have so many websites???
If you're a reputable breeder, people will find you if you have only 1.

Anyway, it's up to you, Claudia, I am a newbie in this forum, but by now an experienced researcher into these matters...

You can maybe keep us posted, you can send me an email at

friendsforlife2020@gmail.com

Good luck with finding a Yorkie...
But please wait some and ask the more experienced Yorkie people in here?
They know all or a lot about the breed and whether you're buying a healthy pup for a normal price.

And also, please educate yourself properly about everything there is to learn when becoming a pet owner...

They did not respond to me either except to say they knew what was being said about them on YT. And they are very much aware that they are selling dogs with issues. I have never met them but understand they come across as nice people. I will also continue to do everything I can for Buster. He may need some rehab when he goes back in a couple of weeks, if that's what he needs, that's what he will get. Please be careful where you purchase your Yorkie. I'll tell you now, even though you take him to the vet within the amount of time mandated, you won't return him to the breeder. It's been said over and over, be sure you have insurance or that you have a savings account just for the dog.

I am now stuck with a pet that doesn't even look like a yorkie. I too contacted these people and told them that they could be held liable for false advertisement - but never heard back from them. I watch their site to see just how many puppies they are turning out and making a killing on innocent, inexperienced puppy buyers. I have learned an expensive lesson and hope this will help someone else.

Thank goodness for this site. I am looking for a Yorkie. I have been reading this web site and have learned a lot. I was considering Fancypups, as they are here in Houston. But after what has been said I am running for the hills. I have located two other breeders, and are wondering if anyone has come across them. The first one is Kimberliskuties.com and the other is lloversyorkies.com. If any of you have any experience with either could you maybe pass it along. Thank you again for all of the info that you have posted.

My suggestion is to go to the YTCA website and start there in looking for a breeder.

Both the breeders you posted sell multiple breeds, mix breeds and their dogs look sick. You need to take Ladyjane's advice and look at the YTCA.com or think about rescue. When you go to places like this you get what you pay for.....heartache.

There was a post on here a while back about someone wanting to know if "pocketbookpups was a reputable breeder....she was looking to buy a baby from them....but just because a breeder has a puppy with a genetic defect, does NOT make the breeder bad...it is what she does or doesnt do with that knowledge that determines her worth. NEVER BELIEVE A BREEDER THAT SAYS THEY HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH ANY OF THEIR BABIES....THAT JUST DOES NOT HAPPEN!

Holy Crap Buster came from Fancy Pups when we called we wanted a girl at $600.00 and they agreed to hold her but by the time we went to pick her up she was gone. we were told the other couple that showed up before us they thought we were them hubby was pretty pissed for the drive out there and then for that to happen, anyway Buster came running out from the other room they said we could have him at $1000.00 normally 1200.00 I thought my husband would have broke the door as he slammed it on the way out the door long story short we left with Buster.
