| Glenda Beavers - Tsa La Gi Ggrrrrr....Can you believe it??? I just came back from the airport and the yorkie that Glenda sent me is NOT the one that I purchased!!!! It doesn't look anything like the pics she sent me. She has not answered my email regarding this either. This DOG is 13 MONTHS old according to HER vet when she brought him to the vet yesterday for the health certificate for shipping. He also has NO testicles and NOT the color I wanted. I called her vet and verified all the info. Even in their opinion, they think she did a switcheroo on me. The puppy I was getting was SUPPOSE to be only 17 WEEKS old and very tiny. I am taking him to MY vet to verify if this DOG was fixed or something. I am sssooooo angry! Everyone here highly recommended her, too! --- Admin Addition: The original poster posted the below update in a post later on in this thread. Here is the direct link to it: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/2321895-post67.html ... It looks like the issue has now been resolved. Thank you everyone for your concern for this puppy. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I had my vet look him over and he is indeed a puppy and not an adult as Glenda's vet had told me. Glenda and I did contact each other and I have apologized to her for jumping the gun. As far as appearance, he has change quite a bit since the last pic she sent me. The paperwork and what her vet had told me didn't help ease my frantic state either. I'm sure some of you can understand and get freaked out too if you just spent a pretty large some of money, something didn't seem right and being unable to get a hold of anyone. All in all, it was a terrible misunderstanding. In the meantime, my attention has been on taking care of the puppy as he was very shaken up from the airplane ride and scared of his new surroundings. Glenda and I have been in contact with each other to try to get him to eat and drink and come out of his shell. He's doing much better now, but will still take some time. He's eating and playing, but still on the nervous side. He loves following you around, cuddling by your feet, being tickled, laying on the sofa with you while you watch tv, but yet still scared and shaky when you pick him up and still likes to hide in his crate or underneath something. I also gave him a nice warm bath, so he is much fresher smelling and better looking than when he came from the airplane ride. Right now, he is my utmost priority. The kids love him too, so I have helpers (when they're not playing video games). Last edited by admin; 11-13-2008 at 04:28 PM. Reason: Added clarification from original poster |

| OMG how shocking for you. I hope you can get what you paid for. That poor pup who made the trip, you just have to feel sorry for it. Looks like you have alot of aggravation ahead of you. I wish you luck. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | The things I've read on this site have all been positive. I'm hoping this has been a mistake. And tend to believe that it is, it wouldn't make sense for her to ruin her reputation over one puppy. Please do update us after you've heard from her.

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Wow that is horrible. How did you pay for your baby. If you sent it via paypal or credit card then I suggest you get started on that dispute. Print out all the emails that transpired and get a letter from your vet and print any pictures she sent you regarding the pup. Sorry that happened to you. I don't know her or her kennel but it's horrible if that is what happened.

Lovin' 2 Girls Donating Member | I am not that familiar with the breeding circles; but, have only heard good things about Glenda. I was once considering a puppy from her. I doubt she would risk her hard-won reputation over one puppy. This must be a mistake. Best of luck in getting this straightened out.

| I always have the new owners call me as soon as they get the yorkie in their hands, so I know all is well and I can be relaxed knowing the baby is in their new owners arms etc. If I don't hear from them I call them, sometimes the new owners are so excited they forget to call. Keep calling her I can't imagine mixing up a grown yorkie with a pup? Good Luck

Not sure how you could make that sort of a mistake either. Do you have progressive pictures of your pups?

| I'm sorry this has happened to you....I also have only heard good things about Glenda. Do you have a picture of the puppy that you paid for the one that you think is older that you could share with us? Side note, when Livi was shipped to me, her breeder also stressed to me that she wanted me to call once she was in my arms. |

| Sorry this has happened. I can't imagine she would want to mess up what seems to be a pretty good following & reputation. You said she hasn't replied to your emails....Please take everyone's advice and keep calling her...try to stay calm yet firm and if she is reputable & ethical, she should work it out for you. Hopefully it will be before the dog becomes attached to you or you to him....poor thing...he just wants to be loved & I certainly hope she's not trying to pawn him off on someone she thinks/thought was unsuspecting. Good Luck!
