Sorry, My bad Thank you everyone for your concern for this puppy. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I had my vet look him over and he is indeed a puppy and not an adult as Glenda's vet had told me.
Glenda and I did contact each other and I have apologized to her for jumping the gun. As far as appearance, he has change quite a bit since the last pic she sent me. The paperwork and what her vet had told me didn't help ease my frantic state either.
I'm sure some of you can understand and get freaked out too if you just spent a pretty large some of money, something didn't seem right and being unable to get a hold of anyone. All in all, it was a terrible misunderstanding.
In the meantime, my attention has been on taking care of the puppy as he was very shaken up from the airplane ride and scared of his new surroundings. Glenda and I have been in contact with each other to try to get him to eat and drink and come out of his shell.
He's doing much better now, but will still take some time. He's eating and playing, but still on the nervous side. He loves following you around, cuddling by your feet, being tickled, laying on the sofa with you while you watch tv, but yet still scared and shaky when you pick him up and still likes to hide in his crate or underneath something. I also gave him a nice warm bath, so he is much fresher smelling and better looking than when he came from the airplane ride.
Right now, he is my utmost priority. The kids love him too, so I have helpers (when they're not playing video games). |
