| ![]() ![]() I agree with Yorkiedaze - that's no accident. That's animal abuse! And trying to hurry to make money is absolutely no excuse for bruising an animal like that!!! Good Lord - I just can't believe those pictures - that poor baby. If Animal Control came to her house and saw those and thought that she did it - they'd prosecute her for it. Oh, I can't even imagine what I'd do if I saw those on one of my babies ![]() I believe that all groomers should be licensed... at least that way you'd know that they had "some" training and that you'd have "some" type of recourse for their actions. Right now - people just hire whomever they want to do this. I've taken my Mia to several places - all so called good places - but the actions of one girl that bathed and then brushed Mia out was unbelievable! I have never brought her back. My Max has never been to a groomer and he's 11 months old. I just can't bring myself to take either of them in... I do it myself now. Personally, if it were me... I'd go and have a police report done on it. I'd make sure that the groomers name, Mgr's name and anyone else that had anything to do with it is named on the complaint. This could happen again. ![]() Good Luck and keep us posted!

![]() I would take her to the manager and demand my money back. I too, groomed several years ago. Get a book and some good equipment and learn. Its saves money in the long run too. I was watching a groomer over at Petsmart grooming a schnauzer because we also have 2 and she was jerking him or her around and when she seen me watching she stopped. Bless that little baby's heart, I would never take him to another groomer. Like I said learn and do it yourself. Its really not that hard escpically on a yorkie..

![]() ![]() ![]() Is your little dog acting ok as far as behaviour? Seems that would be very tramatic for the Yorkie.

![]() Oh that poor baby! I have personally seen a dog being mistread at PetCo one day when I was there picking up Buddy. I gave the boy a dirty look and when he realized he was being watched calmed down. I waited around for a couple minutes hoping the owner's would show up but they didn't so I left and never went back. Being licenced does not mean a groomer will treat the dog appropiately. It's a human feeling to like an animal not just tolerate it and some groomer's for whatever reason are just in the wrong business! If only the dogs could talk to us. How many other's go threw this? I am glad I started grooming Buddy. I don't have to worry about that anymore. I trust no one. Owner's drop their pets off thinking they are being cared for and that's not always the case. Very sad.

![]() I'm thinking a squeeze and not a fall unless she landed on something..... Either way this should not have happened ! Like I said before she is good for groomers and a happy go lucky type dog. This was the only time she came home acting scared and strange. I was very blessed as a breeder to find such a wonderful couple to have my dogs. I can't say enough about them as dog owners. I get pictures all the time as they each have their birthday parties and at all the holidays. She has talked to Fox 9 and they want to do a story, but her husband is a very private person and wasn't sure what to do. Uncomfortable about the news crew showing up in their driveway. So, I'm not sure if this will get on tv, but I wanted to post this so even if a person is very careful, you might want to stay and watch them be groomed ! Here are some pictures of their Yorkie family. Tootsie is on the left and in the single picture, peanut is in the middle and ( retired) grandma to Tootise is on the right. I will update if anything else happens.

I know what you mean...My husband and I where at a Petco so we stopped to watch the groomer, she apparently didn't think the dog was cooperating so she raised this brush up towards her shoulder then she turned and saw us watching her so she lowered it....I just know she was going to hit that poor dog in the head....
