Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I think this is wrong. If you have not bought a puppy from this lady how can you review her. It is just hear say! If you really have proof of her doing something wrong you need to give her your name and number. I have not seen any proof of wrong doing. Brokering puppies may not be right but it is not illegal. Advertising Teacup is not illegal. Alot of older breeders us this term and mean nothing by it. It is the same as saying tiny to them.

| I bought my yorkie from Loretta A lot of you are commenting on a situation you have not been apart of. I am here to tell my side of this story. I bought my yorkie from Loretta in Dec of 07. I chose to buy from her because I wanted a yorkie for Christmas/my college graduation present. She always seemed to have yorkies available and she was one of the only people I could find that actually had a yorkie puppy available two days before Christmas. Maybe I should have thought more into the reasons she always has yorkies available but like I said, that was a selling point to me. So I got my little boy yorkie (Gizmo) from him and he was an incredibly cute puppy. He is the perfect dog for me. He has grown up the past year and a half with me and I have had no problems with him. He has more of an athletic build then the typical yorkie but he has the softest hair of any other yorkie I've ever come across. He has been to the vet routinely since I've gotten him. He's gone through extensive annual comprehensive physicals and he is an incredibly healthy dog with no health problems. He is the best money I have ever spent. And if I had to do it again knowing what I know about Loretta, I would still buy from her if it meant knowing I would be getting the dog I chose before because I wouldn't trade my dog for the world. I do not condone puppy mills or puppy brokering but you have to look at it like this: The puppy was born into this situation which you had nothing to do with. All dogs deserve a good home and not having to live in a shelter or bad conditions. You gave that dog (which came from a bad situation) unconditional love, companionship, and the life it deserved. The puppies shouldn't be punished for their caretakers mistakes. So by originally not really knowing the situation my dog was coming from, I can look back now and not regret my decission because I know I gave this puppy a stellar life. Small dogs often have health problems even when they are bred and raised in an ideal situation. Anyone "brokering" in this large quantity of dogs is bound to get a few with health issues. Like I said, I don't condone these situations but as bad or whatnot as this person may or may not be, in the end they are simply giving these puppies a home. At least these dogs arn't ending up in the already overcrowed animal shelters without a loving home. Things could be worse. |

The problem is a LOT of the dogs involved with these puppymill/brokers do wind up in shelters or worse. If you look at many of the rescues, they are older females who have had most of the life bred right out of them. Some have breeding females that have never been outside a cage, never ran in a yard or park. Never had a human play with them. How sad is that? I know it seems like the thing to do is rescue as many as possible from someone like that. But if you give her money, it is just enabling her to continue in the same manner. Honestly, I don't know, if I was faced with one sweet face I could save after seeing bad conditions, I might do the same thing. I know it is not the right way to go about it though. We have to stop encouraging puppymills with our money. But no way can I say I would not have done the same thing if I was in your shoes. When you love a puppy on site, sometimes logic goes right out the window. So, I am split. I know what a person should do, just not sure I could walk away without giving one little puppy a better life either. So for me, I just make sure I do not go look until I am sure the breeder is not a mill or broker. I have had to ban myself from even looking in the window of the mall pet shop too.

| I bought my puppy from Loretta I bought Giorgio from Loretta at 9 weeks old. I thought her house was very clean, and all the puppies looked very healthy. Giorgie has never had any health problems, thank God. I do not condone puppy brokering, but I did not know at the time. Giorgie is the best dog I could have ever hoped for. She gave me a canopy bed, some puppy food, shot records, and told me to call her with any concerns. She took time to explain to me how to care for him, and I really got the impression that she really cared about the puppies. I am thankful my experience with her was good, and am sorry for anyone who had a different experience. Giorgie is my best friend. |

| Words cannot explain in complete shock We purchased our yorkie from Lorretta over a year ago and still haven't received our AKC papers. She has not returned any of our phone calls and did not disclose that her puppy were shipped from a puppy mill!!! Naturally I have discussed my frustrations with my family and it turns out she sold my cousin a 15 pound "yorkie" and she has been experiencing the same problem with the paper work. My husband and I were curious to see what info had been reported on her and that's how I came across this site. Thanks to everyone I wish I had know we could pull this info on our breeder ahead of time. |

LOL.....do just that, okay....call up your local police department and report this...LOLOL....SLANDER....and, then wait....to hear the sound of a police dispatcher laughing out loud! Police really have better things to do with their time, like investigating real crimes, robberies, rapes, murders, etc. Perhaps if you handled your business in a professional manner you wouldn't have people posting on the internet about you?????? Or, a better idea....why don't you STOP brokering innocent puppies?
