purposely breeding for chocs and tinies
I thought that responsible ethical breeders bred to improve the breed and only bred towards the AKC standard.?? I dont believe the AKC standard says anything about chocolates, parties, white. I have been "in" Yorkies over 25 years and none of the AKC papers ever had 21 colors to choose from. Maybe you are talking about the 1800s?? I would love to have a copy so I could put it in my scrap-book.LOL So, evidentally, ALL of the puppies you produce are breeder quality and sold on full registration, hence the big prices on them. So, if you did sell them with limited registration, would your prices be the same and could you sell them as fast?? Most "show" breeders that I know dont sell their best representatives of the breed for the price you ask. Maybe the words "tiny", "chocolate", "full registration" and "100 champions in pedigree" do the trick. Wonder how many generations that pedigree is? Well, that jsut my opinion. And to the person who said this thread is 15 pages, are you the thread police?? |
