Please Look At My Website www.yorkyshop.com I have been threatened by a member of YT to "expose" my website because of her own personal vendetta against someone else. She claims that "most are against breeding tiny dogs for large profits". Which is a quote from the numerous threats she has sent me in a private message. I am sure that everyone will not be pleased with each and every dog on my website, but let me tell you. I have worked long hard hours to obtain the quality and bloodlines of the Yorkies that I have and I am very proud of each and every one of them. I have many, many, many very happy new puppy owners, some who have returned for up to their 3rd baby from me. I also have a long list of breeders who have purchased their little stud dogs from me. I have a few breeders who have started their stock from my bloodline of Yorkies, many who have purchased many puppies over the years. I have also been contacted by THIS SAME PERSON many times wanting one of my little 3lb stud dogs and my Chocolates as well. I have not sold her a single one of my dogs. I do not show my dogs, but that does not make them any less desirable. I have been fortunate to purchase a Champion sired stud dog in the beginning and purchased Champion bloodline dogs also along the way. I have 6th generation puppies from the champion sired stud dog I purchased in the beginning and crossed that with other Champion bloodline dogs I added to mine. This person has also insinuated that she has or will private message anyone who responds to my threads. If you recieve one of these private messages, please consider the vendetta she has, that I am not a part of, but am only being lashed out at. Thanks for reading this and I hope no one else has to deal with such. Pat |
i didn't know YorkieShop was you!! The dogs are so pretty. I haven't looked for awhile but I am going right now to look again. I am thinking I may be in the market for a well-bred SMALL stud. I have a very nice Crosswinds male but just something about him. you kow how it is. going to look right now and I am not afraid of anyone sending me pm's. I can handlee myself. I, for one, like tiny dogs. To each his own. |

Sorry bout that, I stay at home and take care of my babies and brag about them on the net, and then out of the clear blue.......BOOM! |
I am sorry this has happened to you |
So sorry to hear this...I love your site and your puppies are so cute. No offense taken here as I have a tiny furbaby.;) |
Good for you....your dogs are so cute! I don't understand why some people on here can be so mean! I don't understand the point of the mean-ness. |

In reading your web site again maybe - just maybe the word you describe your puppies "teacup" is what's the issue. There is no such thing as a "teacup" Yorkie - if you look at the AKC and YTC web sites. |
I noticed that you call them teacups and say that you specialize in teacups. I'm really not trying to start a big argument or anything. I'm just really curious as to why. http://www.yorkyshop.com/about.html I also noticed that you charge more for the chocolate yorkies which I think are adorable but I don't agree with charging more but that is just MHO and nothing more. |
It says on there teacup yorkies...I thought there was no such thing? Im not asking that in a sarcastic way either....I am asking because I really don't know. I get asked all the time if mine are teacups and had responded there is no such thing as a teacup yorkie, there is a yorkshire terrier and thats it, ut oh...lol was i telling wrong?? |
lol at Drawlins and Izzy look at the times of our posts.....we all said the same thing!! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!! lol |

Oh, that little IZZY is adorable! I have admired her many times. Thank you for the comments about my website and the babies. When I started, I did not have the internet, but searched and searched and drove many, many miles looking to find certain characteristics to compliment each other. Made a lot of mistakes and had a lot of heartaches and cried a lot of tears. And still wonder if a puppy I am selling is wondering where in the heck it is the first night it is with its new family. I love all mine and hope they love me as much. They must, some like to sleep with all 4 feet in the middle of my back at nite! The internet seems to be vicious at times, but there are so many very nice people on YT too. |
I thought your site was very nice. I like others don't care for the teacup word but to each his/her own. your pups look so sweet :) |

If anyone else has any advice that would help, I would gladly listen. BUT THE TEACUP WORD HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS PERSON'S THREATS! She has contacted me several times wanting a chocolate or tiny stud male. |

So she wants a stud or chocolate and you wont sell her one so she gets all mad?? Just trying to get the picture here... |

Thank you so much and I see the page that I did not get edited and will be taking that "word" out. You all are great! Thanks for not judging me over that word. |
Your WebSite it's Very Nice I love Rio the male one. Is he still available? How much and do you have any females? Lower than $2500 |
Oh I'm sorry this has happened to you... Just when we where talking about how kind YT was getting... :( |

some people are just so bored, they have nothing better to do than to be mean. it's sad that their lives are so horrible, they feel the need to bring others down as well. don't sweat it. a LOT of people use the term "teacup" just because that is such a popular word and they don't know any better. maybe you could put a section on there that explains that you do not care for the term "teacup" but chose to use it because so many people "relate" to that word. but honestly, I don't think you have done anything wrong. Whoever is sending you those pm's needs to concentrate their time on people who are "mass producing" dogs and not caring for their animals properly. I would gladly give them the address of a few places around here ;) |

I truly believe there are many kind people on YT! |

Rio's male is spoken for and I am expecting a deposit. So Sorry. The $2500.00 ones have over 100 champions in the pedigree info I have on parents, grandparents and great-grandparents and so on. There are several people on here that have puppies advertised, you might look on the for sale and wanted that are priced under that. It will be a while before I have some without all the champions priced lower. And not expecting any more puppies right now. |

Did you do a lot of research before you started breeding? That is when you would have discovered that "teacup" is not an acceptable term among responsible breeders. |

That is some great advice! But I intended to take that word completely out when I recently did some editing, I am so bad about not getting around to updating my website:eek: |
I'm sorry someone was threatening you. You should definitely report it to admin. So far as you're breeding, I personally hate the word "teacup" being associated with a dog breed because there is no such thing. It is VERY misleading to a buyer and leads them to believe there is a "teacup" standard for a yorkie and a "standard" sized yorkie. No reputable breeder uses that term, and no reputable breeder intentionally breeds tiny yorkies. They strive to IMPROVE the breed. Show yorkies are normally between 5-7lbs, at the least 4lbs. Of course reputable breeders sometimes have tinies born, but they don't intentionally breed them because they require a lot more care and have the potential to have more health problems. I also don't agree with breeding faulted colors but a lot of people like them...but the reason these colors are faults are because there are more genetic problems associated with these faulted colors. I'm not sure how you got your hands on so many championed dogs if you don't show...reputable show breeders don't just sell their pups with full breeding right to just anyone - they only go to other reputable show breeders. So I think it's kindof fishy that you have a lot of championed-sired pups but you don't show... |

I, myself would not think a breeder irresponsible soley on the use of one word. I would certainly think it would take lots more than just a "word". But I will be taking it off my website. I am still looking and learning and am sometimes appalled at all the mis-information a person can get on the internet. I have learned a lot on YT even still after having bred yorkies all these years. And I am hoping to learn much, much more. I hope no one thinks anything about my name not being on there or phone number. I have had some of my little yorkies stolen in the past and am scared to death of thieves! |
