I don't think I will be able to change the Yorkie world with my one pair of Chocolate Yorkies And again, to better the breed, you would have to be breeding to meet the standards, which you are not doing if you are breeding chocolates. The "breed" has standards, already set in stone, recognized and approved. If you are not breeding to those standards, then how are you bettering anything? It wasn't an insult--I just don't see the logic... |

apples and oranges This is where I say "chocolate" ..a long member used to disagree with me alot..we wound up friends, by saying.."chocolate"..that means we will never agree...end of discussion. No one says you can not breed any color you want, any size, any two dogs together and call it whatever name you select..just don't piss on my leg and tell me it is raining... If I love, respect, and want to protect something, I do it no harm. I feel by changing the core of it, destroys, not improves..it is no longer the Yorkie I desire to own..my choice. Remember, the guy who was selling George Washington's ax he used to cut down the cherry tree...he had changed the head 4 times and the handle 3 times, still felt it was George's orginial ax..I know, I know, I have been called fanatically about the breed, but so are the people I respect. The betterment of the breed is all I ever heard when I started...I walked up to Johnny and Morris (Trivar) said.."I would like to buy a show quality female to breed"...all Johnny said was.."we do this for the betterment of the breed, prove to us you will do the same...took a few years, but they trusted me. |
Just leaving the chocolates out of this whole thing, you breed tinies on purpose and sell them without a restricted registration so these people who own them will go on to breed more and probably give you one back on top of it. It's all about money and nothing about protecting the breed....go ahead and do what you are doing but don't expect most of us to understand. |
OMG Pat, we both posted at exactly the same time, with you talking chocolate I would never have said lets leave chocolates out of this.Embarrassed. |
Lol Too funny! |
