| Wow that is HORRIBLE! That is sooo horrible for a person to say let alone really want to do! Who could anyone put a little furbaby down for a reason like that??!!!! You for SURE did the right thing!!! As for breeding, AKC would allow it BUT the sperm count is usually very low or nonexistant on a dog of that age.

| Please This woman my have been a bit desperate to have off-springfrom her male, but,she clearly waited to long. Bad planning on her part does not make it your problem..........after you told her no & you received that response about putting the remainder of the pups down should have clearly reinforced you that you made the right decision be proud you stood firm & did the right thing

| I know nothing about breeding. Other than being insane, why would she offer to put the rest down? Would there be something wrong with them due to the male's age? What kind of breeder, show person is she? The thought of such a thing can only come from someone who has no feelings for life! You sure did the right thing. Who would want to get involved with this kind of phsyco! Carol & Buddy |

| You say she is a showbreeder - do you know what registery, AKC, CKC, etc? If so I would at least turn her in there and if she belongs to a breed club I would also report her. You could also report her to your animal control or humane society.

| I'm not being rude, but I don't get what it is your questioning yourself about? Clearly you did the right thing. First of all, as if any vet would put perfectly health newborn pups down for any reason...please!! Sure, they go to school for 7 years so they can learn how to put down newborn puppies. 2nd, with the attitude she had where she acted like you owed her something; what if something didn't go according to how she wanted; imagine what a frickin psycho nutjob she would be then.....yikes! You did the right thing and I dont think you should give it a second thought. Steer clear of that woman! |
