| Nothing!! Hi, Nothing yet, it's kind of weird...I was hungry so I heated a piece of pizza and she sits in front of me... almost begging... she's not having contractions at all!!! She seems fine... goes into her whelping box once in a while and digs like crazy... comes back out and walk around... she doesn't look in pain or anything.... How long can this go on for? |

| If a sak the puppy is in has ruptured then she needs to have the puppy within 2hrs. If it was just fluid she should be ok. If she is in heavy labor and pushing then she needs to have a puppy within 3hrs or go to the vet. (I always call my vet at 2hrs.)

| Was it just a clear slimey discharge? Sounds like she's probably just in earlier labor. Keep an eye on her and get ready for a busy night. If you'll hold her on your lap for awhile you should be able to feel if she has a contraction. When Roxie labors she sleeps on my chest so I can tell when it gets serious.

| Sounds like we're going to have some pups! She feels the urge to urinate because the pup is putting pressure on her bladder. Do you have your supplys ready? Clean cloths, gloves, bulb syringe, heating pad, towels, newspaper, sterilized scissors, dental floss, KY jelly, etc.?
