| Julie, yes there has been "white" Yorkies in every litter between this mom and dad. That is how I saw my first one and started my long 2+ year wait to get one-either sex. I have a female that carries the piebald gene but she and Remi produced standard color puppies with very little white on either of them. There was a stillborn in the litter....she was alive up til the last 1/2 hour before she was born... and she had tri-color but not parti markings.. And , yes, both parents would have to carry the piebald gene as a recessive to get the parti marked puppies.. And, thanx for the comments on my babies. I am totally kennel-blind when it comes to this litter, The third little guy is in his forever home and is happy as a clam.. |

| Sue, Gayle said you are talking to the president of the IBC, Dagmar. Do you understand now what I was trying to point out this whole time? I never said Homer is not a Biewer. But to breed to a US Yorkie is not acceptable, I am sure you are already aware of that. Maybe we can put water under the bridge and work together now that we are on the same page. Aren't we? I wanted to make this public so everyone knows that we are on the same page Last edited by YorkieRini; 02-21-2006 at 11:22 AM. |

| Well, I had used my doppler on both of my Biewer girls and heard 3 little heartbeats in the uterus of each mom. We went to the vet today for confirmation (she does allow me to say "second opinion!) and, faith and begorrie, we are gonna have 6 babies within the next 10 days. I can hardly contain myself. Cruise man has proven himself....he was da man and he performed his duty on both girls within 3 days. Go figger!!!!! Now, I can compare his get with the parti/Biewer babies I kept from Remi and Skylar. OMG, I am so excited!!! Gonna hafta double up on my blood pressure meds... Poor Villette is gonna wear her fingers to the bone when those babies get here.. |

| Donating YT 2000 Club Member | There is so much to learn about this breed; and I hope that some day I will be able to contribute to the biewer line. Without being flamed, I would like to see this breed, and its breeders work out a way to put the different opinions behind and use this forum and others to educate and inform others about these lovely little dogs. There is so much to learn and I for one want to learn as much as I can. |

| This breed of Yorkshire Terrier is so new that NO ONE is an expert. Some are farther ahead in their research and learning processes BUT experts we and they AIN'T! I love them so much that I can never imagine not having a standard color Yorkie as well as my darlings both partis and Biewers. Having these litters has been a deeply moving and wonderful experience, and my learning about them will continue as long as I am associated with them. I have been asked to register Remi, my parti male, in Germany, because they are so desperate for new blood.Apparently, AKC is recognized as legit by some orgs in Germany. I have given this great thought and will continue to consider it, but it will take a lot of info to make the decision about what to do..Alex and Marlee are the parti/Biewer mix puppies that I kept from the litter between Remi and Chrystel. Chrystel's current litter, just a few hours old, are with a TRUE Biewer and I cannot wait to compare the look, personality, coat and every other aspect of their lives.. Now, to try to settle down and wait for Ilsa's brood of 3.... |

| I totally agree!! I have come here hoping to get help and knowledge. I was warned not to come out and say that I want to breed because of the negative feedback I might get. But, you don't get the help you need unless you ask for it, right? I hope this is a place that I can learn from all of you experienced breeders out there and not be discouraged from doing something I have dreamed of doing for so long. I have been studying book upon book, still I feel like I am missing the help I need. Will I find it here? I hope so. You all seem so knowledgable, but there seems to be some contention too. So far a couple of wonderful ladies have been helping me out. I don't always know all of the questions to ask, but as they come up it would be great to be able to come here and ask them. Sometimes emails can come across wrong and I hope this one hasn't. I am new here and hope I can learn as well as contribute. |

![]() I specifically asked this question to numerous breeders and the IBC. Is the Biewer a Yorkie or a Biewer. And I was told Biewer. So I go with that.

I can assure you I follow Germany and the club I am a member of. Some do not want 'a club to run their breeding program'. This is America so we are all free to do what we please. I do not get upset or offended with those that do not agree with me, however I do get backlash from those I dont agree with..go figure. Anyway, feel free to ask questions. Just don't expect to get the same answer..lolol
