| My Little Romeo R.I.P. I want to make sure I can name the Breeder of my heart breaking experience with a local Breeder/puppy mill before I do so. We only had the snuggle bug 3 1/2 days before he passed away and this breeder is blaming us. Saying we are criminally negligent. I told him we will be suing him but that is not enough for me. As a tribute to Romeo I want him shut down. Romeo was only 8 ounces of snuggle. From the first day we got him he was very un-puppy like. No playing or anything and wouldn't eat. The breeder said that was normal. We took him to the Vet the next day and she said he was probably younger than we were told. They did a fecal sample and said he had blood cells in his feces but he was too little to do much. They gave him a dewormer and we got Nutri-cal and puppy mousse to feed him. So the next two days my wife used a syringe to feed him and gave him the nutri-cal and water thru a syringe. He would drink a little on his own but had zero interest in eating. She was getting up in the middle of the night every three hours to feed him. We told the breeder he had soft stools/Diarrhea and would throw up. We started contacting the breeder and sometimes he would respond, others not, telling him we were worried about the puppy not eating and having no interest in food. My wife texted him again the third night (Saturday) about 7pm and he first told her to bring the puppy to him to care for. But during the conversation he told her that beings the puppy was walking around he should be fine and she was over reacting. So we told him we would take Romeo to the Vet again on Sunday morning. So she fed him and put him down, getting up to feed him a couple of times. At 6 am he wouldn't awaken. He was barely breathing. We called the breeder and he said to bring the puppy to him in N. Scottsdale. My wife zipped up there but he had her meet him at a QT station instead of his supposed Vet. (another story). He was very rude to her and told her we neglected the puppy. Romeo died a few hours later and we are heart broken. Feeling that the jerk could have done something before and prevented the little guys death. So through ensuing conversations I told him I would sue him and of course he responded that he would turn us into the Sheriff's office for cruelty to animals. I'm sure that is his normal to keep people off his back. But I'll take the heat for Romeo's sake. We have our Vet and the things we did to try and save the little guy. I don't think the Sheriffs office are dummies. We think did everything in our power to save him. My wife even skipped work on Saturday to take care of him. Tell me if I'm wrong or we missed something. But I want him shut down and need info on who to contact. There is of course more story and I have a nice pic of Romeo. P.S. I noticed this breeder is mentioned here and not in a positive light. |

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | And yes you certainly can post the breeders name. I am so sorry you found Yorkie talk in this way. But I don't understand why you would take home a puppy that only weighed 8 ounces? And how old was this puppy supposedly? Some states have a law about how young puppies can go home at. Look at puppy lemon laws for your state. If they have such in your state that might be an option to secure some financial recompense for your puppy. You can post reviews on obviously this site, Yelp, BBB, and other internet sites.

| Hi, We will understandably take the heat for being naive about Yorkies and size/weight. We didn't know better. Supposedly, Romeo was 9 1/2 weeks old and would have been ten weeks today. I'm guessing now that what we were told was a Teacup (I know now, but you can flame if you must), was a puppy too young to be sold. Our Vet was very doubtful about his age. I think that's why it hurts so bad. This little guy was probably just to young and the person that sold him to us, probably cost him his life. So I want info from anyone that has dealings with him from a negative standpoint. I will do everything in my power to bring as much negative press and negative reviews to his puppy mill business as I can. I plan on getting an attorney, going to the News Channels and making sure the IRS knows he is collecting cash for puppies. Plus I have a customer that works in the Attorney Generals office as an investigator. I plan on speaking with him also. All the social media sites will be directed here for reviews. And of course, the puppy we purchased is still listed on his website for sale. The little guy we bought didn't look like the pic and I brought this up to him after we got him home. He wouldn't respond to this question. But he was adorable and snuggled on our necks. Instant bonding. The story will unfold. I am requesting any help or info to take this horrific person down. Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I'm very sorry for your loss. This story has so many things that did not go right. If you decide to get a puppy in the future I would recommend that you do research on the breeder as well as the breed and what to expect in your puppy. Again, sorry for your loss and good luck with handling the situation with the breeder. |

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | @romeo RIP Lynzy posted a link for you, your breeder has a few not so good reviews on that thread. This Jason Hill is also a member here. Once again I so very sorry for your loss.

| Hi, No there wasn't an autopsy. The breeder(?), has the puppy. How this unfolded is mind numbing. After we took Romeo to the Vet on Friday, they weren't believing the age that we were told. They said he was way too small. I am attempting to get a Professional opinion from the Vet about what age she thought he was. Our concern was he had no energy and showed no interest in food. The Vet did a dewormer and said he was too small for shots. She advised us to start giving him Nutra Cal every three, about three squirts on the finger and put it in his mouth. Also then to give him puppy mousse through a syringe, about two ounces and then water. So we did this through the night on Friday and my wife stayed home Saturday from work to feed and watch him throughout the day. His desire to eat never came. He would walk around a bit then drink some water on his own, then lay down. We went to church Sat evening and left him as our adult daughter was home, and asked her just to keep an eye on him. She texted my wife and told her Romeo had diarrhea so my wife texted Jason Hill. He said if we can't handle the puppy to bring him back. As soon as we got home about 6:45 we called Jason and he asked some questions about how the pup was acting, and we stated he still wasn't eating, but we were giving him the Nutra Cal and puppy mousse and that he was walking around. So he told my wife she was over reacting and it was late, (we live about an hour from him) and he was going to the Home Show on Sunday, and to let him know how the dog was tomorrow. So when we went to bed i slept on the floor next to Romeos bed (again) so he would have human closeness. My wife fed him about midnight and 3am. At 6 am when I got up, my wife awoke and got him out of bed. At this point he wouldn't wake up. My wife started hysterically crying and nudging him begging him to awaken. we tried putting some Nutra Cal in his mouth but he wasn't swallowing it. She texted Jason and he responded so I called and he said to bring him the puppy. He had said several times he was really good with puppies and had his own Vet, so not knowing what else to do, my wife zoomed up the 101 to Cave Creek assuming she would meet him at the Vet. However, he texted her and told him to meet her at the QT station, which she did. He accused her of not taking care of the puppy and neglecting him. He texted her a little later told her the puppy passed away. I was working but texted him and told him I didn't appreciate him accusing us neglecting the puppy. (This was a problem from day one, but he said the puppy was just adjusting to his new place. Normal.) We had texted him and told him at least a dozen times we were worried about the puppy. So after I got home we texted and then argued on the phone. I told him I would sue him over this and he said he would call the Sheriffs office cause his Vet said we neglected the puppy and didn't take care of him. I told him that was his scare tactic to keep people from persuing him. That the Sheriffs weren't dummies and could read the text and report that we had taken him to the Vet and see we were syringe feeding him and giving him Nutra Cal. So we never got Romeo back and ceased communication when I hung up on him. I accused him on several occasions of bait and switch on the puppy and taking it away from its mother too soon. This is for two reasons. First, my wife was supposed to pick him up last Wednesday, but he emailed her and told her that his Vet said he was too small and should wait a week. This was Tuesday night. She naturally said no problem. However the next evening he called my wife and told her to come and get him at his work so she said okay and we picked him up Thursday afternoon at AZ Mills Mall. So a few times through this I asked why he didn't follow his own Vets advice? He said the puppy was fine. Second, the pic of the puppy I supposedly bought is still on his website for sale. Through all that I have found out, all his transactions are on Wednesday. I believe he is running as a puppy broker and not breeding anything. He lists multiple litters all the time with the same parents which is impossible. Call us stupid but you can't see a puppy without leaving a deposit through PayPal and showing up to pick up said puppy. My wife did this as she wanted one real bad. She did buy a female from Jason Dec 3rd that we love to pieces, but at a supposed 3 1/2 months is exceeding the projected weight already. She was trying to get a friend for our girl Mia. So far just a little joy with much heartache. He gave us shot records that he had printed out himself on Mia, but supposedly didn't have the ones for the puppy, (which he has listed on his site as Nicholas), with him. I don't believe he has a Vet and is giving shots himself if at all. But local online reviews are good for him. Probably all written by him I think now. Now I have since learned several things on this site I wish I knew before. |

| Hi, He's more then welcome to read my posts. I've already composed emails for the AG's office and Sheriff Joes office and the AZ Humane Society. He is more then welcome to call the Sheriffs office and try to tell them we neglected little Romeo, the more press the better. If I have to undergo some scrutiny from them to get the story heard, what am I to say? Sometimes people will/must endure bringing hardship or scrutiny on themselves to do the right thing. Romeos legacy is worth that to me. I am certain the tables will turn and the scrutiny will be on Jason. Full force from Sheriff Joes office. |

| Just to add one more thing to this. When we went over to the AZ Mills Mall to pick up the puppy, he works at or owns the Calendars and Games store. So went in there to see the puppy but Jason had to leave the store for several minutes to get the puppy. I wonder if he left the little guy in his car all that time? It is illegal and if it can be proven, jail time would be in order. I will add this to my complaint to the Sheriffs office. Possibly parking lot video would show if he went out and came back with the puppy. This saga just keeps more horrific if true. |
