| I crate my expectant moms so we dont end up with puppies born all over the house, in places where I cant get to momma and babies! I always assist my ladies during whelping...."we" have the pups together, everyone is calm and cool and safe, soft music playing, I rub her tummy between babies.... and I can see what is happening immediately, at any moment. If she needs help, I am right there. Last edited by Yorkiemom1; 05-29-2014 at 02:14 PM. |

| I am glad everything went well. Make sure the momma eats lots of good food and make sure you give her a calcium supplement.

They are very active & cute. Healthy , always nursing. Does anyone know when can they be bathed !? & how ? With just water? Or puppy shampoo? |

| I never bath puppies until they are much older. Usually around 8 weeks. Mom should be keeping them clean. Once they start eating mush you can wipe them with a damp clothe to freshen them up.
