| I would go for the friday appointment due to your dams small size she is probably going to have a problem...i put my moms well being first.. the last two litters that i helped deliver were all but one born breach and had to be pulled...good luck

Have you ever delivered a litter of yorkie pups before? Do you have someone experienced to help you? I have found that with smaller females they usually do require help working the puppies out.

In this situation, I would find someone with experience to help, have my Vet on call, and hope she free whelps! Being she is a 4 lb female, is scary. Even if the male is small, doesn't mean he throws small birth weights. Good Luck! | |
