| This might sound like a really stupid question, but on the Briewers,is the price way out of sight, compared to a high quality yorkie, they are so cute.I have the 2 yorkies now,but they really turned me on with there darling looks and such cute faces and what appears to be darling personalities...as they say no question is stupid if your asking for true information...what do they sell for on an average? Thanks for not being offended by my question... |

Thanks for askign this question. Prices on Biewers are going up rapidly. Thanks to the brokers. I ve seen prices $3500 and up on average. Making double even triple profit, even more a year ago. The Germans are not stupid, they are fully aware this is happening so they have now rasied their prices. Brokers are known to be dishonest with the breeders in Germany who trusted them with their babies, lying and saying they are buying for themselves or a friend selling the pup for astronimocal amounts with NO guarantee or history with the puppy. Then you have other brokers that work with breeders in Germany who sell puppies to these brokers. It's a damn shame. Anyway, long story short, I personally don't feel that Biewers should be much more than Yorkshire Terriers. There is a little more cost involved because they are registred in Germany, costs a little more than to register with the AKC. My prices for my Biewers which will have Germany Registration papers, all shots, already spayed or neutered, full blood panel to check for LIver shunt and other health prolems, guaranteed, puppy pack, will start at $2200 for males and $2600 for females. The price may vary depending on how much I have to spend on the litter, ie..c-section, xtra prenatal care. When I start showing my prices will go up to cover those expense as well. It baffles me to see prices for $3500 and up from someone that just sells puppies and does NOTHING else. Of course this is my opinion. I am sure there are other opinions that differ from mine. Susan from Magnolia Yorkies shows her Biewers so I don't expect her prices to be similar to mine. I am sure she has even more expenses because of that. So to charge more is justifiable. She is doing something for the breed. Wow..I just can't give a short answer can I?..lolol..sorry. Hugs, Irene | |

| Hello! This is my first post, I haven't even gotten around to introducing myself before I came across this thread. I have had yorkies in my life for about 20 years, but I must live in a small world. I never knew there was any other yorkie other than the black or blue. Then, I decided that I was going to research into proper breeding, and I was looking for another yorkie or two. As I was calling people with yorkies for sale, I had several people tell me that they have red yorkies. In my minds eye, a red yorkie, somewhere along the way, is not full-blooded, but I could be wrong. Then I come across this thread, with the Biewers and Partis. I must say that the pictures of the Biewers are beautiful, I am not so sure about the partis. I have had people tell me that they have not seen a yorkie colored quite like mine. When I get time, I will add pictures, but my children are now demanding breakfast! Mine, I would consider blue and gold, but the gold, at some points is almost white. My mom has her full sister from a previous litter, and her colors are even lighter. The father belonged to my mom, and the mother belonged to one of her customers (mom is a groomer), and they are both blue and gold. Anyway, I was just impressed by all this. |
