I cant say everything that is going on right now I want to see the outcome 1st let's see if she follows through just know she is loved unconditionaly and she is safe and sound now I just wish I would have done things differently god is good and he will see us through anything with faith hugs to all you and your four legged kids

By the time you realize something is wrong, you have the baby in front of you, and the only thingyou can do is take him/her. I did that too... but I think I lucked out... my little boy is perfect.. but I have so many unanswered questions of the breeder... and she has disappeared. I send email updates to 'last known address' regularly, but no replies... it's very said, really.

i want to tell you i have never been so sad and happy all in one time the day i picked up Bella i paid 1250 for her i was suppose to get a show quality dog that one day we might start a breeding program from. i had talked to glenda for over a month before buying her. i was so happy because i was told she had a great personality and that she was born dec 3 20010 and at that age would be potty trained and in good health and up keep, specially since i bought her from a show breeder with a great long history with yorkies....
i talked to her about what i read on YT she said i was all a misunderstanding and that she never sold to a pet store and that she is a good breeder and that i was to not listen to "them people" on YT that it all started from "a lady that was mad at her because she wouldn't sell a dog to her....or that was just a hater!!"

i had got her name "glenda beaver" from a referral that said she was ethical and a good breeder........well i beg to differ!!!!
I also want to say, she has still not sent my AKC dogs papers for her or vet work like she said she would ......here is the sad part of the whole story

our 1250$ show yorkie came to us with 12 ticks stuck to her her skin was peeling off of her so bad, i couldn't take her to a groomer, because they were worried about it being catchy to other dogs.
it took 5 baths (that she hates having)to get most of it off her and she still to this day has sores on her from dry skin and the ticks and she hates bath so much i have to have someone hold her or she tries to jump out the tub and off the grooming table it's in m opinion she is so not use to being groomed at all. she had ticks in her ears, she came to me with a red open sores on her bumbum and one dew claw must have grew back but it was growing a nail that was going into her leg. she had retained teeth we took care of that and let me tell you i have done rescue for the last 13 years and i feel like i bought a high priced rescue dog it makes me so sad that i gave all this money to glenda and she is letting dogs live like this and be sold like this.......(Bella) she is scared of everything she sits there and poops and pees on her self because she dont wanna move. she will not walk on a leash, she wants to sit in the kennel she came on the airplane to me in, i put the kennel away and she was so upset about it but i had to to make her understand that she dont have to hide away in her kennel...... i dont know what else to say i have photos of all this and my family and neighbors were there right when i came home from picking her up and tried to take her out to go potty they came to see her and we all seen everything at the same time same day she came home....

i called glenda about all this she said well maybe you can breed her and get what you were looking or out of her sometimes with dogs like her that is what they are good for is being moms......i'm at a loss for words please get me your input on what you would do?????? i feel this is all my fault i have never bought a dog without going to the breeders home or with out seeing my puppy face to face 1st i feel so bumb!!

she is here now and i have been working with her and i just am so upset...i will put the pics on my profile

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I feel for you since I have a dog that acted the same way as your Bella does. I had so much support from YTers and they helped me turn him around. He's such a good dog now. He wasn't covered in ticks, but he had so many fleas that his entire snout was so covered in flea poop you could barely see the skin. If you ever need anything, or just to have someone to chat with that's been there, feel free to PM me. Bella can be a sweet and loving girl for you with time.

Please don't breed her. I received advice from a reputable breeder that her fearful personality can be passed on to puppies. One scared dog is enough. Please spay her and love her for the rest of her life.

Again, my heart goes out to you since I struggled with a similar situation. But know there can be a bright and happy outcome in the end.

i have been told if her parents are fearful dogs it can be a dna trait but her parents are champion finished dogs that is what makes this so bad she has been made to fear she would have been a great dog from the jump if it wasnt for the breeder but i hear what your saying and god bless you and i will make sure she is well treated and she will at some point turn around i will make sure she has a good home for life i put so much time and money into her to start a show breeding program my self but now i feel i can't do that!!!! thanks so much for your post hugs to your lil guy too and have a good day

I just hope people listen on here or ask more questions before they buy from her in the future, or at least think before they buy from anyone, I thought all was good and we would have a dream dog I thought I found someone I could trust I wish I would have talked to more people and waited before I bought her but I had talked to her for a month or a little longer. she said she adopted all her children and about all the years she had in yorkies and I seen all her dogs on her website and I asked all the questions I thought I should ask and thought I got the right answers too!!! grrrr

I feel also I saved her and we do love her and I am sure if she had a better beginning she would be so much better and she comes from good dogs if that is really her mom and dad.....I feel like people sometimes start out good and mean the best in the world but i think sometimes they just need to know when enough is enough and back up and re-evaluate the situation and think what this will do to everyone involved including the animals and families getting the animal!!!!!

I like to give benefit of doubt when a well regarded breeder's reputation is challenged, and I did so with the alleged puppy sales to pet stores thread. Everything else I've ever heard about Glenda was good all the way, so this is stunning news to me. I can only imagine your disappointment to receive your highly anticipated dog in this condition. Best wishes in your efforts to make her well again.
