You are right, calcium should NOT be giving during pregnancy...I'm no breeder but I do know my breeder very well and I pay attention...only type of calcium that should be given to a pregnant bitch is in food...a good puppy food, eggs, cottage cheese, chicken liver or beef liver...once she whelps the puppies than she will need a calcium supplement like Pet-Cal, you can get that from the Vet.

OP...you should take the advice from the YT breeders here...they are a wealth of good information that will help you keep your bitch and her pups healthy...Good luck!

ACK! I wish you hadn't gone there. I actually know of a case where this happened. It is the most vile, disgusting thing I have ever heard of. I can't get that little girl and her infant son out of my head.

I would just like to thank everyone for the advice. I will be leaving yorkie talk because I do not handle drama well and a lot of you are all about the drama and trying to put people down and judge them. You are not GOD so get over yourselves. You do not know me or what I am about yet you sit and pass judgement on me. I am above this and will not play a part in the drama that you so need in your lives. To all who have helped me with great advice , I thank you very much. The rest of you's will have to find someone else to play GOD with. It is sad that someone comes here for advice and gets judged . I did not think that this is what this forum was for but I can see I was wrong. I have seen it happen to many times and I will not be a part of it.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I wish you and your little girl all the luck in the world. I wish you would stay as YT is just a taste of the real life. I see drama at work every day but I choose to ignore it for the sake of the job that I do. You can always have this thread closed, take a break from YT and come back at a later date to focus on the fun parts.

YT is what you make of it. If you focus on the negative, negative is all you will get from it.

I am sorry you are leaving YT. I think what you are referring to as "drama" is the difference of opinions from yours, and they are simply our opinions. I don't believe I have seen GOD up here making post but only have seen HIM with the miracles he has performed on some of our litttle ones.

Just because some believe one thing doesn't mean judgement is being passed, it's simply what they believe (let them be crazy or not),

I do feel that I have played a part in making you feel uncomfortable and I do apologize for that but again...those were my opinions not judgements. I do wish you would reconsider leaving as we have grown to in our feelings for Sadie...I promise not to post my opinion to you again but to only inquire about Sadie.

And I hate when people throw the judgment thing down my throat. I cannot CONDEMN you to hell, but by golly it is my God given right to love you enough to tell you when you are doing something stupid and immoral. Look it up. The Bible never once says that we cannot help along our Christian brothers and sisters. It says not to pass judgment, there is a HUGE difference between condemnation and helpful advice.

I truely believe God would be saddened to see so many of his beloved animals purposfully bred by greedy people for the mighty root of all evil!
