The nylon hemostats can be sterilized with alcohol...Our vet sterilizes them with chemical sterilization, she uses them on pups when doing a csection...We scrub them with bleach water like all the whelping supplies then soak them in alcohol...

Ordered my first a couple of months ago, one with my Kennel name monogrammed on it. My new show prospect loves it and I will be ordering more....it really washes well.....and because you really stuff them well...it takes forever to dry...I use to order them from Itty Bitty Dog Store, but since they went out of business about 3 years ago, I've had difficulty finding really well made ones, that endure alot of washing and of course dogs doing their regular paw scratching. More than likely will be ordering some wrapping jackets soon too. Have you thought about booties?

Question do you use the Poly Satin thread for monogramming or the metallic thread?

I use both threads for monograming...Yes, I have thought about offering matching satin booties...I will be adding new products in the next month...I will be also adding satin collars to my wrapping jackets for those that want that option...(which can be monogrammed)

I just asked about the thread you used, just because I found the poly held up better to washing.

I ordered some with the collars and found they broke the coat around the neck really bad....have gone back to the others.

I have some of the very old time booties. But, there is some that I have that are sock like, that have a non skid substance on the bottom. I just use surgical paper tape to hold them in place.
