Noticed a great friend of mine that I already emailed and called right away has posted and thank you~ I see a little light at the end of the tunnel my other Mom has taken the baby in and has been nursing the baby some today!!! The strangest thing is that both girls have always been the best of friends. Both came into season the same day and both had babies within 12 hours of each other......I think my Stormy can tell that the baby is that of her dearest friend as she has looked for her when away from her babies. She keeps going the the couch, then the kitchen, then back to my bedroom when letting her out of the playpen from the babies.....but now I do think she knows that she is not coming back. Our precious Yorkies are so amazing My husband and I are just in disbelief with the love and care she is giving the baby....and I will post more pics when I can bear to look at them myself as have not added my Sweet Mom to my Album...yet, too many tears . I have cried til I cannot cry any more for now....and am making Stormy a special pudding recipe....and hubby has given her tons of treats.....for this moment my focus is on her...but unfort know it will not last for long and back in my mind again with so much hurt...but your posts are helping me get thru!!! Thank you soooooooooooooooooooooo much!

I would like to say that I have today read so many post from folks who are suchhhhhhhhhhhhh caring people and am so thankful I went to you with this......and I will be here for you........as we all have the common goal of such love and passion for the bred. Just so thankful there is a forum to go to to express the good, the bad, the joy, or the pain....reading the posts of the folks with the joy right now has gotten me personally thru such a hard time...

I am so sorry for you lost...I know it hurts, and my heart goes out to you. Thier is nothing that I know that can take the pain away...except time and the paryers that are being said for you and the little one that has been left to you.

As far as breeding goes you need time to heal.....that will come, I know it seems like it will not right You are heart only feels the pain.... that will change, "Prayer changes Things." You and the baby are in mine. Blessing...............

I cannot seem to stay off the forum as you all understand. My Vet did do every test under the book...blood work was not that bad the first day is what I do not understand?....fecals, smears, sonograms , xrays showed nothing. I feel in my heart I saw it when it happend and just went down hill from there and the SEVERE VOMITING STARTED......WITH THE HORRIBLE CRYING IT WILL HAUNT ME FOREVER!....
Is is poss she ruptured something?....and the sonogram, and xray did not show this?
I was a Vet Tech myself for 4 years...and just never saw anything like this....as she was not even stable enough to do very much of anything as far as a surgery to look..as the Vet said they had to get her stable and they could not do...and my Vet is the best.
I had to post for you about my experience on a similar situation. I am so sorry this happened to you.
When i first read i immediately though of uterine rupture.
I had it happen to one of my females years ago... she was expecting 5 pups, second pregnancy, free whelped first time... this particular time 4 out, and she started whining, vomiting and stumbling around... took her to the vets, did every possible test too... decided was time for an open surgery right there ... with my story the end was happy, even the 5th puppy removed by c=section made, but if i had not called for a c-section i am confident i would have lost her and the last pup ... found out she had 2 different ruptures on her uterus and got her spayed right there. I had my share of many c-sections... so many times... but if my "guts" are telling me to do so i call for a C-section.
I hope this brings some light to you .
Hope you are already better from the whole episode.
XOXO

I do not know if I can continue to breed another litter. Going to have to do some serious soul searching as I look around at all my little precious faces looking up to me to always do right by them and never put them in harms way.....The surviving little puppy is now 4 days old and sat up feeding and could see she is getting stronger a little each day. I will continue to do all I poss can and try to get her over the hump......but way so heartbreaking when looking at her now to know it took a life to give a life.
I really do not know what to do from here as this is honestly something I do not know that you ever get over. Thank you for all your prayers and please continue to pray for the baby. We are both going to need the support.
oh no I'm sorry for your loss......

reading this is the SOLE reason I knew from the day I got Chanel my oldest and fell in love that I could never ever breed her - I was asked many time back then why I didn't consider it and always said the same thing - she's MY baby and I couldn't chance losing her

I'm sorry you went through all this - I've read about it happening many times - the moms get very ill and some make it and others don't...

I think your post about your little yorkie mom will maybe help the next person who is considering breeding - it isn't as easy as some think and tragedies DO happen

hugs

Thank you very much ! i can use many prayers !
As a matter of fact i did know about "GOD " and dog ... i love the name CALEB and the meaning is Dog ... which is back-way for God, and as you know Caleb was a very Faithful man with God's Vision !!!
Blessings and keep up praying ...
I will do the same for you .
XOXO
