As for "that poor pup", she is and always will be, taken very good care of. Don't waste any brain cells worrying about it, you might need both of them for something that is really a problem!

Ladyjane does nothing but save the lives of these little creatures. She receives them in an abused state, from either puppy mills, bybers or irresponsible pet owners....cares for them, running to this vet and that vet at all hours of the day and night.....This woman has nothing but the welfare of these little creatures at heart.....So, one can understand why she fights for any animal, she is there voice. She doesn't just talk the talk, she walks the walk.

there are a lot of great PEOPLE on this site...and mentors...and they earned that title to be called mentors..but they have to be able to keep it and represent it...and the comments on this thread rarely showed mentors, but people with chips on the shoulders and other people helping to hold those chips

Hmm, wasn't someone just talking about not judging others and not making assumptions about someone when you know nothing about them? Guess that only applies to some here.

She might be fine with critters and walk & talk

, but as far as people skills go, she has a lot to learn.

I don't think the intent here was to paint everyone that has had any issues with one broad brush. As breeders, we know that temperament is inherited and the behavior of Calypso is alarming.

Probably no one here is expert enough to say for sure at what exact level should a dog not be considered for breeding due to temperament. The thing with Calypso is so extreme that the obvious answer is she should not be bred. It's probably safe to say that a dog with any extreme behaviors (aggression, shyness, fear) should not be bred.

This thread has been revealing in that many breeders have discussed their dogs' behavior. All our experiences and situations are different but it's obvious that aggression is not a universal problem. Yorkies are often percolating with mischief, but shouldn't be violently aggressive, IMO.

No it is not...if you are not comfortable trying to protect some dogs so be it .. you don't have to be in this thread.
