| ![]() IMO there is nothing wrong is buying a cheap puppy with no papers..we do live in a free country...but you can't expect too much, just be aware. I bought a very tiny Doxie at a yard sale once...she was only $100. I gave her to an elderly friend who loved her for 13 yrs. PS..I would want your friends vet to talk to the breeders vet..one positive pup is odd...could there be a false positive on the parvo test...? |

One way to tell if they have Parvo is the diarrhea and a bad smell with it - since blood is in it. All the Parvo dogs had the same bad smell to them. You really need to have all vets communicating together on this.

Or, a false negative? Strangly, the sister that was purchased with the brother also became ill around the same time as the positive brother, but as I mentioned, tested negative. I am going to have my puppy checked, but I am also going to ask for the test to be paid for by the seller. Fingers crossed. As of this morning, my baby, T.J., has only been a happy, healthy baby, whose as sharp as a tack.
