| Bentley does this if he gets excited....like when we come home after an outing or if he gets excited about a treat or something. Is yours just doing it out of the blue?? How often is he doing it???

| How old is he and how long have you had him??? Does he seem ok otherwise?? I'm not an expert, but maybe he just got excited. You may want to call your vet though to put your mind at ease I've heard that lots of yorkies do this when they get excited but sense I'm not there and I can't hear it I hate to diagnose your baby.

| I would also contact your vet, tigger was doing something like that and the doctor after explaining to me in detail what could be going on said, (I'll give you the short version) that it could be an inward sneeze. to stop it you close your dogs mouth and make them breath through their nose, if that doesn't help you keep the mouth closed and give the a short breath of air through the nose. Yorkies are known for tracheal collapse. so I would have your vet look at him to see if his or her trachea is soft or hard. good luck sweetie. |

| My Little Mickey does this some times too. I just take my fingers and cover his nose and rub his throat for a sec it makes them swallow and then all is fine. Mine are so use to me helping them with it. That they come to me as soon as it starts. |
