| ![]() I am a yorkie breeder, love the breed, have been doing it for quite some time. This might be un popular to say, but I want my yorkies color to pop and want to inject some white into my bloodlines. (THe parti colors) I just think it is so beautiful and exciting. Can I introduce some color into my lines? |

| ![]() Do you want a parti to breed with one of your yorkies or do you want to start a new line getting two partis to breed? Are parties and yorkies two different breeds or they along the way got mix? Just curious ![]()

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | ![]() I just started doing my homework on biewers and partis, maybe one day I will be qualify enogh to want to breed and show one. my daughter loves them too, but our first love is the silky for now. and she loves showing. best of luck with doing your homework, I figure it will take me a few years to do all the reasearch and meet the right person and get the right starting couple. I am curious in why do you want to mix your lines that you already have? hugs, Carmen in nj Last edited by carmen in nj; 02-18-2010 at 02:18 PM. |

| ![]() If you breed one of your female standard colored yorkies to a parti colored male, all the puppies would be parti carriers....the parti carriers bred to a full parti would produce a litter where some of the puppies would be full partis and the rest would be parti carriers also...That is if you want to keep your lines and introduce a the parti color, takes 2 generations with no guarantee of a full parti.... This is what I am doing plus I purchased a full parti female to breed to when she is 2 (she is 16 months right now). The tiny pup on my profile is a carrier girl but at 8 months now and 1 ans 3/4 pounds she is way too tiny and is a pet. Hope that helps. Tammy Last edited by yorkielady06; 02-18-2010 at 02:37 PM. |

| ![]() Thank you very much for the info! What a process! SO if I buy a parti male, the male and female will not produce parti puppies but their babies will? |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() This is one reason I don't recommend people buy parti's, the breeders tend to breed the sire and dams to the offspring, there is too much inbreeding being done. The dog you buy was probably inbred, and now you want to do it, to rush the process. Remember, there's a difference between line breeding and inbreeding. You are just asking for genetic problems when you do this, and the poor puppy buyer pays the price.

| ![]() Say What? I dont inbreed. I ask alot of questions to be clear. I just made an honest comment. To do it right it is quite a process. I have no interest in inbred animals. To many health concerns etc. |
