If you breed one of your female standard colored yorkies to a parti colored male, all the puppies would be parti carriers....the parti carriers bred to a full parti would produce a litter where some of the puppies would be full partis and the rest would be parti carriers also...That is if you want to keep your lines and introduce a the parti color, takes 2 generations with no guarantee of a full parti....
This is what I am doing plus I purchased a full parti female to breed to when she is 2 (she is 16 months right now). The tiny pup on my profile is a carrier girl but at 8 months now and 1 ans 3/4 pounds she is way too tiny and is a pet. Hope that helps.
