I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I'm talking about someone breeding biewers and buying a limited registration parti or parti carrier to breed more biewers. It's done all the time. The question was why would a limited registration parti carrier be expensive, and I'm trying to explain why. The limited registration doesn't protect the dogs because Biewer breeders are not registering with the AKC.

Limited does not protect any dog if a person want to use a different registry. And breed the dog as a Biewer, Parti or a mixed breed. One of the reasons why carriers can run higher. Last edited by yorkiegirl2; 02-14-2010 at 11:48 AM.

I prefer to keep the lines separate, unless the time comes when the AKC accepts them as pure bred yorkies.

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I don't know of any Biewer breeders registering with CKC. Most of the Biewer breeders are registering with either the German registerys or with one of the American clubs like the BBIR (BBCA--Biewer Breeder's Club of America). The CKC in the U.S. is not highly respected by most Biewer or Yorkie breeders. |
