You know it's about time YT members band together and bring these people to light.......if we don't newbies that are considering breeding/exhibiting/etc. will think this type of conduct is ok?

That is a very disturbing possibility. I actually saw it mentioned on here by someone (Donna, maybe?) that she was a member here for years before ever making her first post. I know that I was a member here for a while before I posted too. You never know who is reading and what they are taking to be fact...so I find it hard just to sit back and not say something sometimes. (Generally speaking, not really related to this instance.)

Now you being the snooper detective that you are.....I know you've gone through the membership.....how many members are on here that joined years ago and never posted.....but, you go to their profile and they've been on as recent as yesterday........

Thank you.....there are a few of you that have come along way from where you started and that is always satisfying. If we stop learning and think we know it all we just might as well spay/nueter everything and quit, cause we aren't doing our dogs or the breed any justice.

Yup it was me that made the comment I think I was a member for about 2 years before I posted anything maybe not that long but it's true. I read some to get a feel for folks.

I really would like to see YT change its rules about selling dogs. I think people should have to have posted X amount of posts and has been a participating member before they can post their litters. I don't like that people think this is a free place to sell their dogs and we do not have a clue about them. While I undertand people can fool people on here I think it might help a little and would be a good starting point.

I think your idea has been brought up on serveral occassions.....

But, in my opinion having a certain number of posts before you can sell a litter won't solve the problem. There's ways around that........Think about it and I think I've mentioned this before, there's a way around every rule.

Newbie comes on or even a long time member.

In the breeder section........My fifi has been bred. Periodical updates are given. There's a puppy watch.....

In the nursery section puppy pictures are posted....watch them grow.....
Most of the time these puppies are placed way before the 10 week rule......PMs are exchanged & puppies are sold

The number of posts doesn't make you reputable.......

But, I understand what you're trying to do; keeping people from just coming on to YT & using YT as a place to advertise their puppies....
