Ckc puppies in my area sell for as much as AKC puppies. I don't understand it but see it in the paper everyday. I guess people just wants a good pet.

To be honest, until recently I didn't really know there was a difference. I think some people feel better buying a puppy that is registered, and never even know what the letters stand for. I could pay $24 to register Bella and the mini poodle she mated with, then pawn off my good old fashion mutts as CKC registered Yorkie Doodles :eek:. In the best interest in my "pups to be" , I don't think I would want to let one go to somebody who bought that line of crap in a newspaper!

However, I do need some really good lines to convince my DH why we should keep atleast one :p

I can't imagine how much stress you're under right now, but beating yourself up over what happened, isn't going to help, and your baby will pick up on it. Just be with her now, and do what feels right. You know her better than anybody else, when she's ready you will know, and if she's really having trouble, you will know.

Praying that everything works out for both of you, and there's lots of extra loving furbabies in the morning!

You are too funny.
Just because a pup is AKC registered doesn't mean you're getting a better pup and the pups are healthy, socialized and a good representation of the breed, whatever it maybe. I've seen some AKC registered yorkie pups that oh my.........coming from BYBers that are breeding just for $$$$. Yeah! There are some that pay that $35.00 fee to have them advertised on AKC......heard some first hand horror stories on that.

I have a client here that payed $3,000 for "TEACUP" unregistered yorkie. No papers, problems with her liver, came with worms and my gosh had the breeder docked her tail just a fraction of an inch more...she'd have no anal opening.......So, it can go either way.

Rhianna goes into heat like clockwork every 4 months. I originally thought that her second heat was a split heat because it was 4 months from her first, but when she had her 3rd heat, 4 months from the 2nd one I was amazed. But my vet said some girls "just do" and that looked to be the norm for her.

Very rare that you have a yorkie that goes into Season every 4 months....it happens but, not often. Norm is 8 months.

Yes, but many people still believe that if it is AKC that it is guaranteed to be purebred.

let's hope tonight is it PLEASE!!!! I need prayers!!!

i have seriously never seen her dig this much in my life! and for the most part she is lying all sprawled out flat and whining but gets up every 5-10 to dig

I thought Coco would dig her way out of the house. At one point she was under her bed digging. This all sounds like great progress. You know with a low temp like that it can't be long. If you hadn't been on puppy watch for days already, it wouldn't seem to be taking so long.

Keeping you in my thoughts.

well my gut ths time is saying soon (i hope)
iwent to make myself a bowl of rice and green beans and she was panting...is still digging now but when she lays down its allthe way flat
