Congratulations on your beautiful babies!!!! I am so happy to read that everything turned out well in the end. Thanks for the pictures............believe me when I say your camera will be working over-time in the next few months. Keep that battery charger handy!

Congratulations, the girls are beautiful, I am so happy that everything finally went great, my heart sank as I was reading the first post, I have been there & done that, its a roller coaster ride, get some rest, they are beautiful!

Thanks again, guys! We've gone ahead and named them (even if only temporary, I mean we have to call them something, right?!?)- Mallory and Marina. We thought we'd give them "M" names like their mama, Maya. Mallory has the white patch, and our chunky butt is Marina. We LOVE them so much, truly these babies are a cherished gift.

My vet told me that the kind of anesthesia they use is completely out of their system by the time they leave the vet's office. Because I did express my concerns about and about leaving her alone with the puppies while still a little loopy. He said that wasn't a problem at all, that she was 100% anesthesia free and just fine. She's doing great! btw, do puppies have hiccups? I noticed one that looked as though she was hiccupping for a little while. ???
