My vet told me that the kind of anesthesia they use is completely out of their system by the time they leave the vet's office. Because I did express my concerns about and about leaving her alone with the puppies while still a little loopy. He said that wasn't a problem at all, that she was 100% anesthesia free and just fine. She's doing great! btw, do puppies have hiccups? I noticed one that looked as though she was hiccupping for a little while. ???
