| ![]() should I take the stool sample tonight or should I just let them do a fecal exam? I just got a new puppy a couple of days ago so what kind of precautions should I take to make sure he doesn't catch whatever she might have??? he seems fine so I don't think he is sick. |

| ![]() Is it possible the puppy is a carrier and has made her sick?

| ![]() I sure hope not. is it possible to carry a sickness like that and not show any signs?? I took him and her to the vet about two days ago and they did a fecal exam so I wonder if they would have found anything from that? maybe she got sick from the vet. man, I hate taking my dogs to the vet... you can't ever trust that anything there is clean enough. |

| ![]() It's definitely possible that your new pup could have brought something home with it. It's also possible that it was picked up at the vet. The incubation period is only 1-3 days. In either case, if it's corona, it is highly contagious. It's spread by direct contact of the mouth or poop.

no no no!!!!!!!!!! Do not use advantage. My bay was born dead and deformed after I used it on a pregnant bitch because "my vet told me to". No flea medicine is safe no matter what they say and if you have had a good experience with it, then you have been fortunate. | |

| ![]() if her belly is going down, it could be that she is absorbing the puppies and it is making her sick. just a thought. |

| ![]() Sorry I bailed on you last night. A lady called me with a male that was so low on sugar he was in a coma.. and her Vet was out of town. So I had her bring him over.. It took a lot, and an all nighter but happy to say he is doing fine. I hope all goes well at the Vet. Sounds serious! |

| ![]() I took her to the vet and spent like almost 400 dollars!!!!! I am sooo upset with them. even after all the tests and everything he still could not give me an exact diagnosis. he said it could be her liver or it could be her pancreas. they also took x-rays and he could not tell me if their were any pups in there and he said there was a lot of fluid in her tummy. they also gave her some fluids so she perked up just a little bit. by the time we left, her diarrhea and turned green. it was so bad that it was just coming out of her. she couldn't even hold it at all. he said that she was also very anemic so he gave me a prescription for special food they have that would help. other than that, he just gave me some powder medicine called tilan or somthing like that for her diarrhea. I got them to give me the x-ray, so here they are. please let me know if anyone sees anything. she is right at 6 weeks. |

| ![]() the vet said that he could maybe, and I mean maybe he might have been able to see two pups that are just starting to calcify. I am still very worried. the powder medicine to help with the diarrhea is supposed to go on her food but I can't get her to eat... |
