| ![]() I see here in the pregnancy time line to becareful b/c this is the time she is most suspectable to birth defects, i have looked online but dont find much info on it. How do I avoid any type of birth defect? anything to look out for? food/activities etc... they say it only lasts about 1.5 weeks. Please if an experienced breeder can give me more about this I would appreciate it! |

| ![]() Here is one article that explains some of the things to avoid: Birth Defects in Dogs. My recommendation is to feed her a high quality dog food during pregnancy, do not add a lot of supplements to her diet, avoid chemicals, like flea medications and any cleaning products and do not allow her to get over heated. |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | ![]() She is 37 days from first tie. She was not a big eater before but ate enough for me not to worry to much. Now she will not eat her dry kibble at all. She use to love when I added a little canned with it but now won't touch it. The only thing she will eat is sometimes things off my plate. If she thinks I am eating it she is more interested. So I been sharing my dinner with her. I am afraid she is not getting a balanced diet. I was thinking if maybe a multi vitamin may be good for her.
