Honey I am not planning on making a living off of dogs...I have a real JOB. This is not some sort of sport that I have just taken up. I would never SELL a puppy to anyone. I didn't say that I was going to become a "Breeder." I leave that to people like all of you.

No one is nuts who posted. what you're seeing is passion and people who care about the welfare of dogs - no one was defending the breeder posted about in this thread except that one person who seemed like she/he must have had something to do with them on a personal/financial level

I didnt say this--just quoting what that other poster said and gave it a thumbs down....I was kinda floored how she denied intent on breeding and then told everyone they were nuts when she clearly stated thats what she was doing.

Ur right about the passionate people on here and I too consider myself to be just as passionate about the plight of animals. I volunteer at the local animal shelters and give more than my fair share to animal shelters. Take a sentence out of a paragraph and pick it apart. I am a responsible pet owner. I keep my pets till the good lord decides that he has a better plan for them.

Honey, these people are not breeders. They are people very passionate about the breed, breeding being done correctly and for the right reasons, to improve the breed.

I purchased an AKC registered "Yorkie puppy" from PurebredBreeders. com this past July. I purchased a female with hopes of breeding her with the male that I also purchased frm the same site, different owners from different states. We searched for a suitable female and found a few to choose from. When we called the customer line to select our female, the gentleman said that he knew this particular breeder and would call her to get the specs on the pup. After speaking to her, he said that she recomended another pup instead of the one we selected. We looked over her selection and since we want to breed her at least 1 time, we took her recomendation.


again I am not dening that i said that I wanted to breed her 1 time....

Her snout is much longer than his and she is a much bigger dog, not the 3-4 lbs that we had been told.
While on a cruise this month we met a professional breed judge. When showing her the pictures of our puppies, she told me that she was bigger because she is a Silky. This explained o me the reason the two looked different from each other.
Now comes the kicker...For those of you who want to defend this so called "Breeder"....
We receive a letter from AKC stating.."A parentage verification analysis of AKC DNA Certifications was conducted on a dog in your dog's pedigree/lineage. The DNA results indicate that this dog could not be the offspring of the parents to which it is registered. Because your dog is a direct descendent of a dog in the litter with incorrect parentage, the registration of your dog and its offspring have been put on referal. This means that AKC services will not be provided if the dog's in this litter are bred,sold,or transfered, and awards will not be recorded if these dogs participate in any AKC sanctioned or licensed events."
I have turned this matter over to the brokerage company that I purchased the dog through. As soon as I hear back, I will post again.

ok...this is where talking to other yorkie people and breeders and educators come in...believe me i know they try educating me on here ALL THE TIME..but im really hardheaded as some would say

1.) you want to breed? you want to SEE what you are getting first hand..meet the people the breeders the dogs, the enviroment in which they live

Thens there a lot of inbetween work..knowing the breed you are interested in..research, educations, blah blah all that stuff

2. Ya cant trust buying online...you really need to know who you are talking to...

3. educating yourself on the breeding prospects is very important...you were expecting a dog to be no more than 3-4lbs...few problems off the bat..NO ONE can guarantee what the size the pup will be so many genetics play a part in that area...2. if you knew what you were doing you would know NOT to "order a pup that is estimated to be no more than 4lbs to breed" and of course you wouldnt have probably gotten involved with these scammers 3. have you ever seen and handled a 3-4lbs adult dog? omg!!! they are so tiny and expecting them to have babies? really unrealistic without horrible consequences ..people try to market up this tiny dog and breeding tinys to get tinys but the real words are breeding runts to runts..and their little bodies are way to small to carry puppies and the bones are too little to deliver them then if you go in for c sections you have to worry about all the possible reactions to the meds, anesthesia, and the recovery being to much on the little bodies...

and lastly please kick this lady's butt for all trouble she is causing you and other people...do everything legally possible to her for her fraud

I haven't googled them in a long time - but you can type Brushy Creek right here and see the huge threads about them and the reporters name was David - he was fantastic ! He updated me all the time and posted here for quite a while.....

just another thought they probably told you they had a "better one" because they didnt or never had the one you saw pictured..thats how these people work. they steal pics off other sites and use them in their ads ..next time if there is a next time..stay n in your area and personally go look for what you want =)

I'm really sorry that you had to experience the school of hard knocks.

Many years of research of studying breeders, pedigrees, canine reproduction, genetics, breeding, whelping and on and on. Familiarizing yourself with tests that will need to be performed on your breeding dogs.

As stated by everyone no one should purchase pets or breeding dogs over the internet. Let alone from a broker. Anyone that has done their research knows to run the opposite way should anyone readily sell you a breeding dog without knowing you. Those that do are only breeding and selling dogs for money.

I recommend that before you proceed with your breeding intentions.....to research, find a mentor and study.

Breeder her 1 time. Mmmmmm without preparing yourself are you prepared to lose your female? Cause it happens more often than not. And if you do will you be able to sleep them.
