I personally think the difference between advertising on the internet, puppyfind and the pet stores is the breeders advertising on the web can still screen the buyers of their puppies to make sure they go to good homes, pet stores do not.

I have gone to the police station in that town and reported him many times and he is MORE than a byb....LOTs bigger...And you do know him...I have to watch what I say and do because of threats...

Ther are alot of top breeders that have many, many dogs. I see nothing wrong with that if they are doing their homework in their breeding plans and treating their dogs great.(vet care, food,socialization, etc). As for pricing, that is up to the breeder only. Price depends on lots of factors, not what the market dictates.

You do your homework! I bought from someone on puppyfind, she is an excellent breeder and is also in another forum I'm on. Everyone on here says don't buy if you can't go see the pups, well how many people on this forum have boughten from Glenda and have ever been to her kennels? Probably none. So, therefore, everyone is buying from her off her website. I guess I do have a problem with commercial breeders. You tell me how these dogs can have a life when they're in cages producing all their lives? I think that alone is disgusting! I think all dogs(not just yorkies) should be loved and pet and taken care of and not just used to breed. This is why I won't breed more than 1 or 2 at a time. I want them to still be part of my family, and when I'm done breeding, the dog will be spayed and will stay right here with me

If she did ship for friends at Puppy Love as a favor, I wonder what the allegations on a different website that she sold to Laughlin (post #132), a puppymill in Massachussetts were about. Does she have friend there also?

Doesnt it start out with "I am told". Sounds like hear-say to me. But Glenda is only a phone call away. Why dont you do the logical thing and call her up. Dig all the info you can out of her so you can post it.

I'm sure she would stick to her story that she has already posted regarding shipping puppies to petstores to be bought by God knows who. She admitted it, get over it already.

I know many websites give out an "adoption papers" to fill out, but how many really refuse customers? I think this just gives buyers a false sense of security that they are buying from a quality breeder. Now that people aren't buying so much from pet stores, the Internet has become the way the millers can sell their dogs. I believe the only way to ensure that you are buying from a good breeder is to check out for yourself the conditions in which the dogs are being raised.

I am so shocked at all of this, have you guys not said enough to damage her, I haven't been to her kennels, but I was told anytime I want to come there I could, NO I don't have a dog from her and I have my reasons, NO I don't like the fact she help her friend ship her puppies to a pet store, but MY LORD don't you think you have judged her enough. I can't believe some of you will jump on anyone at a heart beat, I am not taking up for her, but do you really think continuing with this BS is helping YT. People can read and see what has already been said and they can make the decision on whether or not to buy from her. I really am not trying to be ugly here, but to say what some have said and comparing to some, Get your heart and mind in the right place people. We are here to help each other, and share about yorkies, not to rip people apart to little pieces, there is another place on line thats good for that. It only takes one time to hurt someones reputation. I don't know her personally, I have talked to her, and decide not to buy one, and I will not answer why, because I will not be the person to ruin her or suggest things, only person that I know can judge anyone is God.:(

Glenda's dogs are not kept in cages all of the time...that is obvious. She shows most of the time. Dogs that are kept in cages and not taken care of do not look like her champions...this thread is just getting silly now. There are ridiculous allegations being made - to try to compare Glenda Beavers to Jeff Dane is both ignorant and silly and not even worth responding to.

You all need to figure out what your agenda is...is it to stop puppy mills - if so, I don't think you start with Glenda Beavers. If it is to try to ruin her reputation, you all have given it quite a shot, but that's been done before, too. Like I have said before, over and over, let someone that has dealt with her first hand come forward and tell us something negative...or better yet, just let the people that show with her, that know her and her dogs even comment...but to take 2nd hand what others have found and dug up and try to crucify her and try to pretend it's because they care more or have better morals than the rest of us is just ridiculous. ....like I've said in an earlier post

How do we know she isn't. Easy. No one has first hand knowledge that she is. I believe one of the earlier poster's went to her place to pick up her pup, & the review was favorable.
