| 4 week old puppy has diarhea my little lady had 5 babies about 4 weeks ago i noticed today that one of the pups had slight diarhea and at the end it was starting to firm up(i know tmi! but i am just wondering if it has to do with there food switch the past 2 days i tried them on puppy mush hes the only one but is still eating like crazy and acting normal. any help would be appreciated thanks |

| It is possible it is from the food switch but it could also be coccidia. It would be best to have a vet check the stool for coccidia and other parasites. When puppies over eat they do get diarrhea so lets hope that is all it is. I suggest you grind up some dry puppy food in a blender and just give them the ground up dry food. It is much easier than making mush and they are not as likely to over eat. |
