| I can't believe that Rosie's pregnancy is coming to an end here soon! She started out at right around 5 lbs and is today 6 lbs. 12 oz. Her little belly is growing more everyday too. I love putting my hand on her belly and feeling the pups move all around! I noticed today that her milk is beginning to come in as well. I took some belly pics of Rosie last night to show you guys!

| Well guys, i have some good news! Reeses had her babies today, labor started last night, with panting and nesting, then at 2am her temp dropped to 97.5 one hour later she was having contractions, six hours later ( i know!!) she produced the sight of her first little puppy 30 minuets after the first puppy the second one came sliding right out lol then she had contractions on and off for three hours until we say the third puppy, the poor puppy was almost lifeless, had to revive her then just after that puppy came the last little one, feet first! must say he was the hardest birth, scared me half to death, my only boy! sooo reeses had a total of 4 little babies, 3 of which are girls and only one little boy . Thank you guys all for your prayers and support, i really dont think i could have done it without you all ![]() ill post some pics in a sec. |

| Im unsure of their weight at birth, took the first puppies weight, turned out our scale was an unreliable and very difficult scale to read. just got back from target with a new scale and there weight as of right now, is Baby Number one (red girl)- 5.3 ounces Baby Number two ( pink girl)- 5.5 ounces Baby Number three ( orange girl)- 5.7 ounces Baby Number four ( yellow boy)- 5.6 ounces here are some pictures in order of birth |

| Reeses' pups are so adorable! Does the yarn stay around their neck stay on pretty well? I have different color yarn for ours as well. We have never had multiple pups at once so I never tried it yet! Well, Rosie has been restless since 4:45 am this morning. No panting or digging going on, but she doesn't want to eat ( I did get her to take a few licks of some Nutrical on my finger though.) She has retreated to her area that I set up for her to have her pups instead of her usual wanting to be next to me. Her temp is 99.0 this morning, but her morning temp has always been around this. The norm for her is low in the morning and by 8pm is around 100.2. I will have to take it again soon and see if it stays low.

The behavior of your yorkie sounds exactly how reeses acted just prior to whelping, in fact she didn't start nesting until after having contractions for a good 3 hours. ANYWAYS LOL I know your so excited about the arrival of your beautiful puupies (I know I am!) LOL keep us updated on her temps! Reeses tempurature dropped to 97.5 an hour b4 contractions, but through out the day it fluctuated between 99.0- 98.4 Thanks everyone I love my baby and her puppies, I'm just so happy the are all healthy and that reeses is being such a good mom. | |
