| ![]() I was actually planning on getting a pup from there put their pics are too proffesional, they have too many breeds, and no email address. I got suspicious so I looked into it more. I can see that people think it sells milled pups but does it really? Do you have proof? All of the people who bought from there have good reviews. Im confused. What should I do? Should I just turn to another place? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() Hi. We bought a female yorkie from happytinypuppies a year ago. We have had no problems with her other than the normal (had to have a couple of baby teeth pulled and she has to be on prescription dog food from the vet and dry Eukanuba. The vet food is in a can that lasts about 4 days so it is inexpensive. The only thing that I wonder about happytinypuppies is that he changes his name of his business. Don't understand that. Our pup is registered Continental not AKC but that is OK with me. We are extremely happy with her. She was housebroken when we got her (using the pads) and haven't had any problems that way with her either. |

| ![]() Just out of curiosity, what problem does your little one have that requires her to eat a prescription food? ![]() |

| ![]() Most of the Amish farms near our community that have sold within the last ten years have relocated to New York. My husband and I have remarked to each other on this point. It may simply be that is where ALL of our community of Amish have chosen to relocate, I dont know. I have no knowledge of puppy mills (and we live in a small town) but can attest to Amish present in New York. The families we have met have been valued members of our community and have not been known to raise any puppies. They have only had cattle dogs that we know of. Hard working farming families. Most raise sheep here. However, Pennsyvania is not the only state where puppy mills are congested. They can and are EVERYWHERE RUN BY ANYONE. The greed for the almighty dollar is evil. Personally I would not buy any puppy without actually visiting the breeder. In my humble opinion. If purchasing a companion and new member of your family that will be a part of your family for fifteen years or more, I belive that warrants a visit to see what environment your puppy is raised, as well as request to see the parents. I certainly do not wish to lump all amish together when mentioning irreputable breeders, as we have witnessed many hard working families that take good care of their livestock. I feel bad breeders come from all walks of life. But posted this only to let others know there is a large population of Amish in New York State. Networking would be possible, as it is with any puppy mill breeders. I would question any web site that has the need to change their name on a consistant basis. Also no email? but on the web? That should be a giveaway? and if they have many puppies? seems strange to limit communication like that. I would question it. I would check both CKC and AKC for names and addresses of the breeders also.

I am not from MA but check out the YTCA website or ask like people have on here about certain breeders before committing...saves alot of money and heartache in the longrun. Just my opinion of course... | |

| ![]() hey there, I know this reply is wayy late, but I purchased a puppy from happytinypuppies.com about a year and a half ago. My puppy is very happy and healthy! full of energy. i love her very much. i paid about 670 for her, at 16 weeks old. she's now 5 lbs. I didn't recieve any papers proving she was a pure breed, although she definitely appears to be one. I do have to say the "breeder" didn't speak good english, he required a deposite before delivering her to me. he drove personally to my home and dropped her off and signed some paperwork. i never heard from him again, even after some emails. so all in all my puppy was happy and healthy! but the breeders made me feel questionable. hope this helped! |

| ![]() We bought a 10 wk old puppy from Hornings Farm last week and so far she is healthy, smart and active. It is a Menenite farm where they house puppies from elsewhere to be sold in a barn which is their kennel. It seemed as clean as a barn can be and the puppies seemed happy and well cared for, but there were many puppies in each cage. Larger ones had runs but door had to be propped open for them to use run. So as with a puppy mill you don't get to see parents or even pics - but they do have info on breed and weight of parents. Of course as with any puppy mill assurance just isn't there. But after seeing our puppy I had to take her home even with unknowns. They prefer cash but took some cash and a check from me since they hadn't told me about that. After a week home our puppy is doing fine - vet said she's healthy and up to date on all shots, worming, etc. We'll keep our fingers crossed. |
