| Hi, I just joined the site to share my experiences about one of the kennels in question here. I visited Blessed B Kennels not long ago to pick up a Biewer puppy that I was interested in. The people there are really nice but I was uncomfortable with their operation. They converted the backyard patio into the dogs house which housed close to 25 adult dogs. There was a row of section gated kennels which they called "the dogs condo." The condition were poor and you could smell urine and see stains on their blanket in each kennel. The dogs were attention deprived, cold, wet, and afraid. I end up not buying from them because I didn't want to support this kind of animal treatment. The dogs were not house pets. It seemed like a poor business operation. I don't have much experience with breeders but they are definately not the reputable breeders that I want to buy from. |

| Why is putting "baby doll face" out there a no, no? I thought that only meant that have short little noses and small ears. Truely, when I was looking for my little girlie...that is exactly what I kind of face I was looking for. Just curious as to why you say that. Thanks for info.

| Oh, ok gotcha. You are thinking in terms of meeting standard. I on the otherhand, know my breeder says it just to decribe how short the nose is and small the ears. Thanks again, just wondering.

| If its for Biewers they dont follow the YTCA or AKC standard so if its okay from their clubs to say doll faced or teddy bear face then its okay

| You're right and Yorkie reputable yorkie breeders are only concerned with the yorkie breed.....As for the Biewers best of luck to them in getting their breed recognized by AKC. However, when and if it happens they will have the job of setting a standard with concurrance of AKC.

| I have seen their standard before and except for color it seems to be alot like the yt. I dont remember them saying anything about teacups or doll faced so I dont know if they frown on it or not

This is an old thread . This is a very mean opinion. I love yorkie talk but sometimes the rudeness get me disappointed! There is a way to say anything, but depending on what one is going to say, better keep it to oneself ! I had to say it !

Your post is the perfect sample of a very civilized way of saying something. I wish i could see more posts like yours here instead of all the "i believe, i think, and offensive " opinions people post without even knowing. This is an old thread anyways. Good luck in your search !
