| BANNED! | For the puppies sake I pray this person realizes how wrong she is in letting her babies go at 6 weeks old. Its crazy to let them go at that young age. I also don't appreciate that persons uncalled for rudeness and hope if and when they return they learn some tact and politeness. |

| Bless your heart. When I took Krissie from her breeder, I thought that she was going to burst into tears. She kept kissing her on the head while I was carrying her to the car. Krissie was 12 weeks old. I do understand that it is hard after bonding. Good luck to you. Peace and Love, |

| DH and I bred our Siberian Husky and had one litter of puppies. I have to admit that I lay on the floor and sobbed after each one left. We spent hours each day with those puppies and have the best memories of them. They were born around Christmas and we bought an ornament with a puppy and the year on it to remind us of them. Eleven years later, I STILL cry when I hang it on our tree. I totally relate to how you feel. That was McKinley's only litter of puppies and they will always be so special to us. I can hardly see to type this for my tears, our sweet McKinley died in June. We had 13 great years with her and we miss her so much Enjoy every minute with those puppies, you'll never forget them!!

| i can definitely see keeping them till 10-14 weeks their personalities are more developed and their coats are breaking sometimes..but i dont keep mine that long..i would really really have a hard time homing them then ![]() my experience and things that i have read have been that the females are really not interested in the puppies passed age 6 weeks, weaned. what i have read several times is that they are actually seen as other dogs at that point, competing for food and what not..(dont know if i believe that part) but i do believe they arent looked at as that dogs babies..usually (not saying that some arent different and they keep that motherly instink) i let mine go at 8 weeks...but they have at least one vaccine, and have been dewormed 4 times and have had a health exam..but if they are tiny or something doesnt seem right to me they do not leave until i say they can i also have mine sold very early on and the new owners are screened and chatted with on a regular basis, several times a week..phone calls, emails and visits (after the first vaccine has been adminstered) and so forth i have an application process..i did receive most of my inquires from puppyfind.com..but some were from other sites and some had been waiting on a waiting list im actually starting a small side business in puppy marketing..NOT BROKERS..i just want to do the advertising and pics for people, contracts, screening, websites and so on i only have 1 litter a year sometimes less good luck pm me with any questions |

| Please. Do not sell your puppies at 6 weeks. They are still being weaned at that time and have not gotten all of the nourishments from the mother. I am feeling pretty good so I'll keep my negative comments about the person that posted that immature comment to myself. If you care about the welfare and health of those babies keep them for at least 10 weeks. |

| Donating YT 1000 Club Member | it is so much easier when you find the perfect new homes...you are doing what is best for the puppies.. selling them in pairs is the BEST because you know they have each other.. i wish they could only go in pairs....or at least to a home with another dog close to the same age and size..

| Donating YT 2000 Club Member | My puppies do not leave until they are 12 weeks old. My puppies are well socialized, immunized and go to the best homes. At Six weeks they are first starting their immunizations. It is okay to sell them at six weeks, I guess, but they don't leave to go to their new homes until they are at least 12 weeks old. |
