I thought a min ago that her stomach got really hard then when I felt again it wasnt. She's not likeing me touching her belly right now..

she is probably having contractions...and you cant blame her for not wanting to be touched....lol.....poor baby....well wont be long now

I know, her stomach feels so tight at times that it seems like it would have to hurt. When it tightens, I can feel a couple of the puppies and it's like they are just pressing so hard against her little tummy..no wonder she don't want me to touch her...ouch\

OMG........ I just read through what I missed after going to bed last night....it was like a book with the last pages missing. Don't ya just hate that? I can't imagine that those puppies aren't here yet...at least some of them.

Wendy.......I hope you can let us know soon what has been happening and I hope that everything went okay. Hoping for happy news............

We are so excited for this wonderful birthday. I hope you are not posting because you are assisting her in the birth of new babies. Prayers of strength are on your way for the both of you!

In the meantime Froto, Bear-Bear, Gracie and I will be waiting....impatiently :2popkorn:

Can you believe NO PUPPIES YET!...well at least not real puppies. I woke up this morning after falling asleep right beside her. Somehow she got into my 3 year old daughters room and brought two beenie babies into her whelping bed. She was licking them when I awoke and I thought forsure..PUPPIES...well, boy was I fooled. Anybody ever had a dog to do this? Weird huh?

Anyway, she is as we speak...shivering, panting, and has been contracting pretty much all night, but not close together...now they are closer...she shivers harder with each contraction..or at least thats what I think she is doing.

She is licking herself more than ever now! So we are gonna get some daytime puppies!!!! YAY

OMG...we have had a major family emergency and I have to leave to go like 2 1/2 hrs away to a hospital. My sister and boyfriend are coming up to be with Zoe...I'm gonna miss it :( I'm devistated!

Yikes, this is getting quite suspenseful. :quizzi:

I thought for sure she would have puppies before morning with the mention of the bulge above her "butterfly". I remember seeing that with Lexie's whelping and a puppy came before too long. I sure hope every thing is going okay.:confused: And now she had to leave????:eek: I assume her sister knows what to do......I wonder if Wendy gave her instructions on how to get online here to update us or ask for help.

:hands:Sending some prayers for Zoe, Wendy (and her sister), and for the family emergency. Hope everything turns out okay all around.:hands:

Okay...I'm leaving in about 30 min. My sister is not experienced in whelping at all, so she may need you guys. Gosh, I don't wanna leave her :( I know she will have them while I am gone. I gave my sister instructions on what to do (the basics) but if anything were to go wrong, then I told her about you guys. My baby is shaking every few min...with contractions I'm guessing. She even looked as if she was pushing a few min ago. Oh gosh...I'm so afraid to leave her..pray for us guys!

So this is Zoe's sissy... She has thrown up and is trying to under the beds.. I put her in her room in her crate to have them but she is scratching at the door and whining... I dont have any experience in this and i am flippin out! Should i leave her in there.. or should I bring her crate in the livingroom so she doesnt feel alone.. i keep checking on her but when i go in she jumps out of her crate... she is panting and shakin!.. and so am i!

Oh gosh, this is nerve wracking! :eek: I suppose Wendy is gone, but with her light still on:confused: ...Wendy's sister, are you there? Is anything happening yet?
I am praying really hard that nothing goes wrong and that these pups are born safely.

Do not leave her alone....you need to be there when the pups are born in case she needs you. Most often, they whelp fine, but do not leaver her alone. Either stay where her whelping box is & do NOT let her go under any furniture or she will probably end up giving birth there. You don't want that happening.
Stay calm (as you can)...your nervousness will make her more nervous too.
Watch her close. It seems the time is very near.
How long will Wendy be gone?

Okay.. i am going to go in there with her right now.. i called wendy and they are just now gettin to the hospital.. they will be gone for atleast another 4 hours!..... Ill keep everyone updated as soon as anything happens!
